I mained lock in wotlk and you helped me out a tonne throughout the expansion, now I was kind off forced to reroll mage due to our guild changed alot in their roster.

Great video man! Sucks how much cheese there is in this Tier. I'm definitely a natural damage cope gamer. Affli feels super fun on Chogall and Sinestra, but i'm a def a demo coper for Dragons and Council.

The fojji raid pack is what I'm using and it shows the +dam effects on all the raid bosses.
Big fan of your guides! I'm thankful you gave the simple macros for the felguard pursuit and felstorm lol My only question is: Do you have a list of all bosses and which spec you would prefer to use for each one? For instance, V&T being an Affliction fight while Magmaw seems to be a demo fight.

@itspummel, quick question bro, when you say you play afflication, why do you do with the heavy mastery that we got from demo? no1 has multiple tier sets for gems etc.
I just use my demo gear for my affliction set when I swap specs, not like I have time to hearth out and reforge and there is surely not enough loot for a second set of gear. It's unfortunate, but we do what we must.
Are you using incinerate build in your vod? I know the majority opinion has been sbolt so curious what you think.
And why not aff on ODS or council? Thanks the vids awesome tho much appreciated :)
I was using incinerate the first lockout and a half last night I tried sbolt and the shadow trance procs feel nice. I was a big incinerate believer, but with my 4 piece now and a bit more gear I think the sbolt is better.

Recently been watching/reading more about destro, once I finish the aff guide I'll make a destro one as well. Out of the country for a few weeks though.

Warlock just doesnt feel rewarding for the amount of bs we need to manage and for being a mid range caster due to our need to apply Shadowflame for max Felhunter damage. Our tier 11, 12, and 13 are niche in my opinion. I'm really trying to find hope in continuing to play this class for this expansion, but the devs seem to have a major hardon for mages this expac that I had forgotten about. What are your thoughts?
I think that warlock takes a lot of prep work, but when everything files together it feels good. If you don't think the work is worth the reward I'd recommend rolling a mage, ele, or hunter. Mages are going to do great later and ele/hunters going to be strong as well. I wish it was less of a burden. mastery swapping, pet swapping, etc. I am going to continue to play warlock however because I've been playing one since tbc and cannot seem to let it go.
@@ItsPummel sadly I'm in the same boat... have only played warlock since vanilla, forgot about their state in cataclysm... can't seem to play another class.
I'll give it a ponder.

@@atanasatanasov5119 if you’re playing Aff yeah, demo agony hits like a wet noodle so I haven’t tried it
In relation to your prepull macro, I see that you've got trinkets included; I'm assuming that is just your normal trinkets that you'd wear for the duration of the full fight? Both mine are proc right now so it's not a major problem for me specifically but I ask the question as the Warlock discord is generally against trinket swapping for prepull?
@@skellypoos yeah I don’t trinket swap or glove swap in my mastery set anymore
Hey Pummel how do you deal with swapping dots on VandT?? Do you soul swap before applying bane of doom so that bane doesn’t get removed when applying to the other dragon?
On pull I soul swap to apply everything quickly (with agony), once the agony ticks out I put doom up. When the dragon goes in the air I soul swap when it flys by. Usually 2-3 times max on that fight. Otherwise you can maintain dots the entire time comfortably.

Do you have a different item set for affliction? I feel it would be very beneficial, but not sure if its feasible or how people are doing it
I don't have another item set, would trade the mastery suffixes for ones with haste that's about it, a lot of the gear there's not many piece that can be played with. Maybe sinestra helm + cho bracers and not do 4 piece.
I know Destro is meme worthy in cata, or at least right now. Any chance though some guides, tips and tricks, or thoughts video could be made for it though? its the playstyle I love, would just like to get better at it.

@@ItsPummel Ty. I'm not expecting you find a secret tech that brings it to the forefront, but even the lil things can spark something in me and that leads to me and i'm sure others getting better.
all though I wish you could go straight up haste/mastery with destro like you do in retail, but you can only really do that in retail, because Destro's mastery works as a form of crit.
I also love destroy because of shadowfury. it makes controlling adds so much easier I find for tanks, when I can go into a pull stun them it gives really any tank i'm with a second to establish threat, instead of hoping they get them all.
@@talisredstar1543 Shadowfury is badass, I've been watching other warlocks play destro and I think its really interesting, once i finish leveling this 2nd warlock up I will make it demo/destro and try it out in all manner of fights. Then maybe put something together for a video.
@@ItsPummel Sounds good. My problem so far is getting insta soulfire procs. I'm guess cause our stats are so low right now. Solo you can even call them han!

but on long fights I run out of shards and/or have to hard cast Soulfire way too much for my liking.

are you using a mastery set at all? sometimes I think its not worth it at all.
I have a mastery set 1/2 the time I get stuck in it cause someone ass pulls, would use it if you have it though.
do you use felguard more than felhunter?
Felhunter predominantly, shadow's bite is ~25-30% of the dam on most bosses, sometimes more
