- I’m the MightyJet, a DC return pump made specifically for All In One Aquariums. The guys from Innovative Marine designed me to be compact and ultra-quiet. I am packed full of features that you may not know about. Let's go over a few.
I bought this pump as a replacement for the original pump on my biocube 29 and it works great so far. I would recommend it if you’re looking to upgrade.
Randomly stopped working after less than a month. Luckily I had the original pump that came with my IM Tank. The controller still shows a light but the actual pump doesn't do anything - even vibrate. It was never out of the water so could not be burned out. - Just strange. I'm a huge supporter of IM AIO's error: E5: Impeller Seized - Impeller not spinning
That seems to be a recurring theme. Same thing happened to mine just now - three years later.
I love that aqua is spelled incorrectly everywhere.
Can this pump be interfaced with the Neptune Apex Pro?
I just bought this to go with a Aquamax FR-SE Media Reactor. I have the 324 gph version but it only gets 27gph hooked up to a empty reactor using 1/2" hoses. Not even close to 324 gph over 10 times less 27 gph. This is only good for 0 head it can't handle any kind of back pressure. NO way its 18 feet of head either.
What is the range of the power of the pump, the maximum is 326 GPH and what is the minimum?, thak you
Does this return pump comes with the tube that goes from the pump itself to the return nozzle??
Hi Jodi,
No it does not. The tube you see is the stock tube on our NUVO tanks.
@@innovativemarine :-(
would the pulse mode mess with the ATO?
Oh yeah. I like having a small waterfall in my last chamber leading to the return so water doesn't get stagnant back there. On wave mode it trips my ato every few pusles.
Problem with my mighty jet after only 24 hours use. Went to use feed mode- it did not turn off, pressed 2nd time pump flow shot up from the 1.1 I was at to 2.2,begining to drain the rear chamber of my 40 gal AIO. Tried to dial it back, but controller refused to go below 2.1. Unplugged the unit from Kasa power strip. re-plugged instill stuck at 2.1! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! With no return pump in my possession-guess livestock loss will have to be accepted.
It’s not quiet at all
The only gripe I have is how the barb connection is in two pieces. What is the point of this? It’s difficult to get the o-ring to sit flush while screwing out all together.
Hi Kyle,
Sorry this comment slipped through the cracks. The reason why the barb connection comes in two pieces: there are multiple fittings offered when buying the pump on its own. If you are using the MightyJet on an AIO aquarium, you do not need to use the oring since it is underwater and will not affect the flow rate. If you still would like to install the oring please give us a call. 866-368-7941 and a customer service rep can help you out.
Innovative Marine Oh awesome, I just didn’t know if it affected performance at all so I wanted everything as it came 👍.
Will the pulse mode work with ATO?...
ATO sensors go in back of AIO tanks, where the water isn’t effected by the pulsing.
It really is quiet
With a worthless feature like sine pulse on a return pump i cant believe there is no on off switch you literally have to dismantle it and unplug just to do service very poor programming
This came with my pro kits. I love it a lot. This will be too much flow for planted tank set-up, which I have. So I have to modify... check out my Instagram @adobo_reef
And ultra out of stock everywhere I look lol
