No microbubbles?
If so.. its really a miracle! Great job.
We have a winner.Plugged in the new skimmer and very few micro bubbles.The next morning it was already making skim mate with no micro bubbles.It is a little noisy but it's not to bad.I'm sure once its broke in it will quiet down some.I will post an update in one month.Mid size in a Nuvo 40.

Got the desktop version inbound. I hope this is the skimmer I’ve been searching for my Fusion Nuvo 20. Been using the Reef Glass skimmer but need something with more muscle.
Hi, so how it goes with this skimmer? I have also Fusion 20 but now with Tunze 9001 but in main space of aquarium and i am considering this skimmer for back chamber, ghost was shit everyone is saying,thanks.

I just got my skimmer and it is WAY too loud, I can hear if from the other room. Any recommendations to assist with the noise, it is definitely from the inner pump
I purchased this protein skimmer recently but noticed that the shape of the skimmer neck is different to shown in the video. Has the model been upgraded since this video or do i have a old model? Please get back 👍
I wish it would fit in my Aquatop 40
Hello, I have a 38-gal Fiji Peninsula AIO tank. The sump is so small and I'm having quite annoying time looking for a powerful skimmer that fit. The area available for the skimmer is 7"x5.3" The distance from the sump floor to the water level is exactly 10". Innovative Marine Midsize NuvoSkim DC is the most powerful skimmer among all the rest of brands that fit in that available room. Do you think it will work fine?? I don't want the "universal one" because it's just for 30 gal tanks and mine is bigger. Thank you for your support.
Why wouldn't they include the relief port on the cup of the newer model?

Probably a dumb question. But I just got this skimmer with my first reef tank that i still. Eed more stuff for and am worried about the air intake tube causing a siphon if u it stops running? Can anyone put my paranoia to rest with this? I'm big into freshwater planted tanks and am used to the potential for c02 and air systems causing siphons when not in use. Any info would be great, thanks.
The pump seems so small... Even the ghost skimmer was bigger in size and rated for like 160 gallons. I thought pump size was a big factor in bubble production. Can some one else weigh in? I'd like to get this skimmer but am unsure.

Which size skimmer did you get? (desktop or midsize) If you got the desktop it should fit perfectly in the back chamber. (The midsize will not fit) If you are still having issues please contact our customer service department. 866-368-7941
Is there only one size?
Currently there are two sizes. Desktop and Midsize. We will be coming out with a universal one in the next coming months.
