My favorite part was when Ohio State thought they stopped them on fourth down on the last drive there. Then they had to deal with the unwavering reality of Colt's accuracy.
@@NOCHEMAL Never to reach the pinnacle again? Its only been since 2015. That's nothing in college football. Most teams go for decades, if they ever win at all.
Amen to that. Tressel was too conservative I remember playing LSU in the title game and they’re down by 14 late in the game and they were still running the ball.
2:02 Pryor could have ran for 10 more yards easy, but went out of bounds way before the first. 7:55 went out way too early and without force again. This was the type of decision-making that undermined his athletic talent.
This is a great game to watch. I'm a Sooner fan, but was fully entertained by this game from start to finish. Both teams proved they're the real deal and should hold their heads high.
That crack back at 21:22 real football stuff right there . I remember those days.
Yeah man people don’t throw themselves at each other like that anymore. It was much more brutal even just 10 years ago
@@seandunn2062 I understand the reasons behind toning the game down, but man.... that real football made boys to be men
How bout them horns
Chefs kiss and hook ‘em🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 We love you Quan
All I remember is Pryor prematurely running out of bounds short of the first on several occasions
This is what made Ohio state change the way they played football forever
Was that before or after they continued to get railed by equal comp? 2014 an anomaly honestly
@@owenshroyer5233 lee me make the comment more clear it change the way we recruited.

me personally my favorite performance of colts was in the 2nd half of the national championship against alabama

Ohio State under Jim Tressel was just like Ben Wallace... Great on defense but afraid to score.
Heath Blake One of the things I like about Ryan Day is that he plays as hard to win whether it's close or he's up by 50.
Both got their rings against supposedly superior competition and than came close several times never to reach the pinnacle again

Tony Iacomi Wasn’t referring to Ohio State as a whole but rather replying to the Jim Tressel Ben Wallace comparison.
Remember when players didnt sit out of bowl games? Even the second and third rate ones
2:00 Pryor could've ran for like another 5 or 6 yards for an easy first down without even being touched still
He would have had his head Taken off. And injured.
A thing of beauty!!
I just bought a Texas Longhorn flag less than 20 minutes ago😂
I knew 2:00 was enough time for Colt McCoy. Too bad this was the best game Buckeyes played all year
Yikes! Defeat grabbed from jaws of victory ✌️. Familiar Buckeyes refrain

Wow I forgot how bad they beat McCoy. Good game to watch. Ohio state left to many points on the field but regardless was a great hard hitting game.
McCoy beat Ohio state with his last pass to Cosby.
Yeah.....but he still had over 400 yds. passing, a rushing TD & the game-winning TD pass !!!
A win is a win. UT played like absolute shit and still won.

Sliced up state on the last drive when it mattered though
Texas longhorns is going to beat Ohio state buckeyes and that is straight facts 💯
Forgot how many times those zebras hit OSU with bogus roughing the passer penalties.
Texas will play Ohio State at Columbus, OH in the 2025 football season.
Terrell Pryor wasn’t a good passer at all smh
Playing Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern, Indiana doesn't get you ready for the better teams. OSU continues to find this out.
What a stupid comment, I’d say the Buckeyes competed with the #3 team in the country wire to wire in this game…
Big deal.@@YTAnon10

I cannot fuckin' BELIEVE we lost this game
Surprised ohio staye even made the game. But big ten is puss ball so maybe not so surprised
Well you played the best Team in Football. osu always plays well against the best teams.
Pryor was just not that good
He sucked
I honestly think back then that offense just wasn't for his talent. Sad the office he needed is there now.
