If it doesn't work, connect your tab to a laptop or PC. You just need to connect it and try the same steps. It worked straight away for me. Thanks

This not a password reset or bypass. This is a factory reset. Those are two different things. This is like saying the fix to losing your house key is bulldozing the house and building a new one.
you are a hero!! 😭I was so embarrased and scared cause when it is new the system asks for the QR. I don't have the box with the QR anymore, thankfully when I restarted it didn't ask again. I had forgotten the password of the tablet that was given to me as gift 😭 now it's back to life. You are a hero!!!

I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

This does not work on mine, it won't ever go onto the boot screen. It just restarts the device over and over again.

After I do this it asks me for a pin or a google account username and password. I don't have any of these. Does anyone know how to bypass the pin screen AFTER the factory reset.

It doesn't work unless your device is powered off. Can't power off device unless you know passcode🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ so, I'll have to wait until my tablet dies and of course, this is the one time my battery is at 100%
Your tablet requires a password to shut down? That's somewhat backwards, usually passwords are needed at startup...
@@MrTim223 yes, I input a pattern which apparently you have to input the pattern to turn off the tablet as wee. It took 2 weeks before the battery died and I'm able to get back into my tablet

Sounds like this is not a bypass as the user would be losing all their settings and data. It is merely a device factory reset similar to a smartphone.

Thank you, it is worked, but there is a problem. After resetting factory and boot, my tab wants to type pin to unlock! It says "Your phone was factory reset. Enter your PIN to unlock it" . If in knew pin why should I reset it !? PLEASE HELP

Okay so I did and it did not work, then i did it with connecting the tablet to a computer with a usb and i got to the setting menu but i could only navigate them, so what i did is repeat it but when in the settings menu i disconnceted the usb and managed to navigate in it and do factory reset, it worked!!!

Hello friend, always 100% with your videos ... but I have been trying to enter Recovery for a couple of days, galaxy tab s7 SM-870 WIFI I have tried in all possible ways, sequence of buttons with usb cable, without cable ...etc. I have not managed to do it.

It worked all the way to the reboot. This is a brand new tablet! Why is it asking for past info ? It factory reset itself and won't let anyone in even after reboot and reprogram, it knows
