For some reason when playing this with a wheel nowadays it just feels satisfying, the ai balancing in some tracks sucks and I suggest you shift after the wheel lights blink twice or you will run out of fuel (learned that the hard way)
That intro of F1 2010 is so much better. Also outside of the gameplay its nicer. With the paddock, the interview. Ben would get a DQ every race tho, with the earlier collision warnings.

Yeah, this was my first modern F1 game. I actually won the first three races from poll, then I was last place for the next ten races until the season mode crashed and it was over.
I remember this game coming out, coming out of school and running to the game shop to queue up with my pocket money from my mum to pay for it and took the bus home. Got home, and my Xbox 360 Red ring of death'd on me. That was the day I started saving up for a gaming PC. Thanks F1 2010 for making the best decision of my life for me.

You can use windows live on PC on the page when you login, there should be small text to loginf with local profile of offline one something like that
NXRacer Exactly, I have the game on pc and you do exactly that. However, first you have to download windows live from the Microsoft website.
Yeqah jus tget the system to run using a local profile it has the option to do that when you boot it up. That's what I do when playing this game.
