Okay, I have two questions. How come all M/Vs from Japan are always shorter than the song? And second; how come you always see a Korean idol group learn Japanese and release music in Japan, but no Japanese artists learning Korean and releasing music in Korea?
Its a strategy a lot of japanese companies do, they show the short mv/pvs to encourage you to to buy the single/album/dvd etc that has the full mv. Japan is big on their copyright which is why alot of groups pv's and songs are hard to find if you don't either buy them or download them quickly when someone posts up a link. I'm not too sure about the whole J-pop to Kpop conversion bcuz Japan and Korea have their differences historically and politically but Japan is more free and inviting to singers of other countries to perform and sing in their language on their music shows and tv and it's pretty rare to see it in korea...only a few jpop groups have performed on music shows there but I know quite a bunch of jpop groups that have done concerts in korea and have also promoted there somewhat but have very little recognition in the k-news and etc. I'm sure it does happen to some extent where groups have done it but with little recognition..sorry for the long explanation x.x
All i know that smentertainment handles the sales for arashi's cds to korea and a few of other jidols and j singers cds from avex and johnny ent. But they dont sing in korean for their ablums to be sold there but its true japan is bigger and more welcoming than south korea.
They should debut AOA Black in Japan, where they have a much bigger chance of becoming popular (like FTISLAND and CNBLUE). I think it was a mistake to debut with Miniskirt in Japan. They flopped, and I think they would have done better if it had been AOA Black debuting with a Japanese version of GET OUT or ELVIS and if they had promoted them like they promoted FTISLAND and CNBLUE. Plus, in Japan you can actually play instruments on music shows, unlike in Korea.
No it's not hun. Trust me. They flopped here. 11,000 is a really really bad amouny if sales and even Apink sold more than them. Hallyu is dying here in Japan anyways..
