AOA(지민 초아 유나 혜정 민아 설현 찬미)가 6월 19일 신곡 '단발머리'를 발표하고 5개월 만에 컴백한다.
타이틀곡 '단발머리'는 '짧은 치마'에 이어 가요계 히트 메이커 용감한 형제와 작업한 곡이다. 펑키한 느낌의 브라스와 기타사운드가 세련된 느낌을 주는 그루비한 팝 트랙으로, 심경의 변화가 있을 때 헤어스타일에 변화를 주는 여성들의 심리를 쉽고 솔직하게 풀어낸 가사가 인상적이다. '짧은 치마'로 1위 가수 타이틀을 거머쥔 AOA 이번엔 곡 제목처럼 상큼 발랄한 '단발머리'로 변신, 색다른 매력을 뽐낼 예정이다.

AOA is back with their 1st Mini Album 'Short Hair' in 5 months!
AOA (Ji min, Cho A, Yuna, Hye jeong, Min A, Seol hyun, Chan mi) released 'Short Hair' on June 19th and had a comeback after 5 months.
The title song 'Short Hair' is written by the hit-maker 'Brave Brothers' who also wrote the song 'Mini Skirt' for AOA. This song is a groovy pop track that is composed of funky sound with the brass and guitar. The lyric is very impressive because it expresses women's mind very easily. It talks about women changing their hair style whenever they change their mind. AOA, who had won 1st place with the song 'Mini Skirt', transforms to cute and bright 'Short Hair'. They are going to show you the different style.

I know I'm late on this but I really like the image of female empowering this video gives. All the girls were playing roles of working women who chose to be strong and stop fitting into what they are expected to be. This is represented by the cutting of the hair, most guys want girls with long hair, and cutting it off is NOT easy, but by doing this, they prove their strenght and goes further than the physical appearance.
YES! This needs to be a stronger theme in more songs by girl groups!

Mina lied and said that Jimin bullied her. Everyone believed her and the group was torn apart and Jimin’s career was destroyed. Eventually because Mina was revealed to be an awful person (intentionally breaking up relationships among other things), people started realising that her stories didn’t make any sense and often contradicted eachother.

It’s been disproven but the group was basically forced to go on an indefinite hiatus and Jimin was shut out from the industry as a whole. All in all it’s a really unfortunate situation for all parties involved.

Well, I was a huge fan because of the Elvis and the Get out concept. I loved them because of the music and style not because their personalities. But i love both their band and dance songs. It shows that they can exceed in both and it actually has a good balance. The first three being band songs, then subsequent three are dance songs. Not to mention the motive behind this, fnc wants to make them more popular before doing band concept again. I can say I kinda like this one, it sorta seems like FNC is pulling back on the sexiness and showing us something else. I like it & hope it continues. I've loved AOA since their debut so I am happy they're gaining more attention, I just hope to see the band unit return this year.

IJulzI No-one in AOA has had Surgery. FNC are well known for that. If any of them have Mono-Lids then they use Eye Glue but Heran was referring to their Lenses.

I got into K-pop with SNSD, they have so many catchy songs, the girls are all beautiful and are so much fun to watch, becoming a fan was a given. Seems like they set the standard for other girl groups to follow and some of them, like AOA,are really giving GG competition for sure, especially in the beauty department. This is only the second AOA mv i have watched and i am already a fan.

I will admit, because of the teasers I expected a little more from the song, but after my second listen-through I loved it. I love the concept too. Not overly sexy and not overly cute.

This song is good but I wish they went back to "get out" and "moya". This song sounds very similar to miniskirt especially the instruments and the beat.

I may have to listen to it again to hear the similarities, but i do think the concept of this video is very similar to it.. and yeah, I wish they would go back to their rock-pop songs. We've already seen "Sexy", so its not really necessary to see it twice in a row..
