AOA (JiMin, ChoA, YuNa, HyeJeong, MinA, SeolHyun, ChanMi) has earned titles such as, “Concept-dol” and “Fantasy-dol,” by portraying the fantasies of the public through fanciful concepts.
This time, they have transformed into stunning catwomen, with the release of their 2nd Mini Album “사뿐사뿐 (Like a Cat).” In addition to “Mini Skirt” and “Short Hair,” the title track, “사뿐사뿐 (Like a Cat),” is yet another collaboration with the hit song-makers of the K-POP industry, Brave Brothers, gathering much attention even before the release. This is probably my all-time favorite female K-pop video. When she winks and blows a kiss to that tattooed businessman, I just about died. This is such a cute video, and I want to get to learn the members of AOA. I don’t even know the name of the girl who did my favorite part lol. I’m hoping it wasn’t Mina, but I think I would recognize her. Seohyun and Choa had a really cool scene as well. I love the way Choa looks at her before she gets through those lasers in the sexiest way possible.

People need to realize that before AOA hit their popularity no one gave two shits about them when they tried the band concept. People were complaining how they couldn't play live, etc. But ever since they came back with miniskirt, short hair and like a cat you guys complain how they don't do the band concept anymore. Not to mention you guys call them sluts or whores which the obviously aren't. Get a fucking dictionary before you use words that are irrelevant and make no sense what so ever. If you actually wanted the band concept, then why complain about it when they released it. Tbh, I love their music even more because it actually sounds a lot better. Also, AOA said in their interview that they would be doing a band concept once they've become a well known group. Stop "slut shaming" them just because they show skin, they're grown women for crying out loud. I prefer seeing them work their own thing, then to have them jump around acting like a bunch of little school kids. AOA never did cute concepts so idk why people are asking them to change lol. Its 2014 for crying out loud I would expect people to be open minded, but instead theres so much hate, ignorance and jealousy I just can't lol. yeah the band concept for AOA was pretty much cast aside by most people in K-pop lol. I was probably one of the few people amongst my K-pop friends who actually paid attention to AOA when they debuted because I liked their concept of an all-girl band. But as far as popularity went, a lot of people started to pay attention during Confused and Miniskirt, which I liked, but I missed the band concept. And it's funny in a way because I remember seeing a teaser with AOA, including Yokyung or whoever the band only member is, and people were asking who she was, having no clue she was only in the band portion and pretty much isn't in the group most comebacks.

Edit: i am kinda happy with the news...i really liked jimin and never threw hate on her (just stopped supporting her). Happens that both jimin and mina had poor communication...mina was in a hard time and really sensitive and jimin was a though leader. Most people don't know that HPV can be transmitted through any form of skin to skin contact unfortunately, so her claim is completely possible

Aoa started with 8 members, a member(youkyung) left in 2016, then choa(the blond one) left in 2017, then mina in 2019, then finally jimin and yuna in 2020, leaving only three members left(chanmi, soelhyun and hyejoung)

I have been saying this opinion for a long time, but while Mina may have experienced hurt at some point from Jimin, she has LONG stopped being a victim and instead turned herself into a perpetrator. Not only to the AOA members, but to multiple innocent people. None of what this Dispatch report reveals is surprising information, it just comfirms a pattern of horrific, abusive, manipulative, gaslighting, and narcisstic behaviour from Mina.
Recall that she power tripped and got a nurse fired in the times of the pandamic all because she didn’t like the nurse’s “tone,” when she herself was being rude and demanding to the nurse. Recall that she proudly went to social media to brag about what she did to that nurse and then backpedalled when people criticized her.
Recall that she knowingly went after someone else’s boyfriend, broadcasted their relationship in public without any shame, gaslighted the girlfriend into thinking she was the problem and was delusional for thinking that her boyfriend had cheated on her and that they had already broken up (they had not), straight up lied that the girlfriend’s father had sent her death threats and slandered him as being part of a mafia, and then threatened the boyfriend (who was not innocent as a cheater, but even he somehow got sick of her threats) with suicide if he didn’t respond to her texts.
Recall that she has sl*t shamed Jimin MULTIPLE TIMES, going on her live as if exposing a huge secret to say “there is a member who really likes sex. It’s Shin Jimin.” And the one time she mentioned that Jimin brought a “man over for sex,” it actually turned out that they were playing boardgames, had invited Mina to join them, and she declined. Recall that she claimed Jimin was responsible for giving her cervical cancer which is transmitted through sexual intercourse. Hilarious double standards.
Recall that she changed her story multiples times on whether the other members were innocent or not. At one point someone asked her what exactly wrong had Seolhyun done to her, and the worst thing Mina could think of was that Seolhyun’s dog had pooped in Seolhyun’s own dorm.
Recall that the initial claim she had of FNC and Jimin not letting her meet her father at his deathbed turned out to be false and Mina herself just didn’t want to go.
Now look at what has been revealed today: that even kind, patient Choa had given up on Mina listening to her. Some people say that if Choa was the leader, AOA would be safe. But that’s not true. Choa was done with her too and only Jimin, as the leader, had the persistence to try and make Mina listen for the sake of the team. In 10 years, Mina only took vocal lessons 3 times. She caused a comeback to be delayed because she went and had her hair done and refused to come to practice. Any leader would not be able to tolerate a member bringing the whole team down. Any person who works and has an actual job that involves coworkers knows this. It looks like Jimin was strict and tried to get her to play as a team player and Mina took that as an attack. If it was Choa as the leader, she would have just replaced Jimin as the target of Mina’s resentment.
People talk about mental illness and sympathize with Mina to ridiculous degrees, but don’t seem to be able to spare an ounce of sympathy for the other members who ALSO are struggling with mental illness. (On that note, Mina has even belittled and made fun of Chanmi’s depression before).
“Hurt people hurt people.” That’s not an excuse, that’s an explanation at best. Being mentally ill does not give ANYONE the right to deprive people of their livelihoods (like with the nurse and AOA), ruin relationships and slander others (like with the girlfriend and her father), sl*tshame them (she straight up calls Jimin a wh**e in the texts to her), or hold them hostage with threats of suicide.
I have stopped feeling sympathy for Mina, she has just hurt too many people and is set out to destroy lives. She won’t be satisfied until Jimin kills herself. I would say she’s a psychopath but it’s more likely that she is a narcissist who lives in her own world where she is perpetually the victim. If anyone has dealt with a narcissist in their lives before they would know how they completely destroy you from the inside out and make you question your own reality and sanity.
I feel sorry for AOA, Jimin, the nurse, the ex girlfriend, and anyone else Mina has harmed. I hope they heal and get their justice one day from the emotional and mental abuse they’ve faced from Mina.

I don't know much about AOA, but I've got to say that I honestly enjoy this song (it's fun and I like the touches of humor in the video; I think the humor makes the appeal go up, since they don't appear to be taking themselves seriously with the sexiness and seem to be having a good time)! Also, I've totally got a thing for Jimin and Choa. Especially Jimin. Like wow. She's so unbelievably cute and pretty (her and Luhan could be twins, they hold such a resemblance XD)! Very attractive! Yannick Morsen the main is the strongest and stablest vocal. The main gets a LOT of singing lines, a lead can sing well but is not up to standard of main vocal, and don't get as many lines.

I absolutely adore Choa's short, blonde hair but I feel the styles' days are numbered. An idol rarely keeps the same hair colour/style for more than one comeback and Choa's had the same style for 3 comebacks now.

First time listening to AOA and I'm impressed! I don't like most of the "sexy" concepts these days but this one really worked for them. Probably one of the better MVs this year already. At least they put some thought into it! Will look out for their future releases. :)

I haven't listened much to kpop since 2013-2015, and I definitely love all the songs in that time, including this song and many more from that era, but the kpop songs these days (even the one from BIGBANG in 2016 even tho I dig them) I can't seem to dig as much as these older songs.. There was a time I liked everything that came out, but that stopped suddenly, I think every kpop fan goes thru this at one point tho..
