MyHeritage test results are inaccurate, as it provides "Modern Ethnicity ESTIMATES" and its ethnicity categories are extremely limited. Turks do not have "Ancient Greek" genetic heritage. Turks have "Native Anatolian" genetic heritage. We can detect this fact with professional and advanced tools such as GEDmatch and G25. MyHeritage is not able to make accurate genetic modellings because it does not have ancient or medieval categories such as "Ancient Greek", "Native Anatolian" or "Medieval Turk". I prepared a new video showing the correct West Asian (Anatolian) and Central Asian (Turkic) percentages of modern Turkish people: ruclips.net/video/7r66iX48A-k/видео.html
The test results don't say "Ancient Greek". It says "Greek" and "Italian" directly. And it is logical for Turks to have it partially. "Native Anatolian" is what "Western Asian" already refers to.
@@doganbirol13 The problem is already that MyHeritage doesn't say "Ancient Greek". Genetic modelings based on modern populations cannot show your ethnic origin. On MyHeritage, "Non-Greek Native Anatolian" genes have been incorporated into the "Modern Greek population". Therefore, MyHeritage produces incorrect reporting as if Turks have Greek ancestry, even though Turks have Anatolian genes and not Ancient Greek genetic heritage. Likewise, MyHeritage even reports 25% Greek result for Syrians because of their native Anatolian genes.
@@fromturkiye8672 My bad. I see your point now. But anyway, Turks probably have "Ancient Greek" just as the modern Greeks have it partially. I'm not sure where your argument stems from but ancient Greek speaking communities didn't just vanish or migrated to Greece alltogether. I'm not a historian to say, but they probably remained in their villages as the culture and demography around them changed. And "Ancient Greek" might already be blended in "Native Anatolian" (which today reflects as "Western Asian") because of Hellenism and cultural exchange with the rest of the Anatolia, Southern Caucasia and Persians.
@@doganbirol13 The invading Greek minority did not have a population dense enough to change the genetic structure of the vast Anatolia. We cannot detect the "Ancient Greek" admixture in Pontic or Cappadocian Greeks. They are Native Anatolians who were Hellenified by elite domination. Turks mixed with "Hellenified Hittites and Luwians", not "Greeks".
@@doganbirol13 With a very simple logic, we can understand that Native Anatolians did not receive Hellenic contribution, without even the need for genetic modeling. Anatolian Greeks are genetically more northern and eastern than Bronze Age Anatolians, and this is a proof that they did not receive Hellenic admixture. In other words, Bronze Age Anatolians could not be more northern and eastern by gaining a Hellenic contribution. Anatolian Greeks are not genetically Greek.
Something is really strange in these DNA test. I've seen so many Turkish samples in DNA study, yet in this video is so high. Like seriously? How is it that 90% of the Turkish DNA video show less than 15% Central Asian yet here is so high ?
@@draculwarmz96 Hello. Because Central Asia is not East Eurasia. Central Asian Turkic peoples are not 100% East Eurasian (Siberia + East Asia). These peoples are a mixture of Indo-Europeans and Mongoloids. So a Turk who is 15% East Eurasian can get 25% Central Asian result on MyHeritage.

THE WEST ASIAN SITUATION: The ethnicity MyHeritage calls "West Asian" and the admixture GEDMatch calls "West_Asian" are not the same thing. First of all, it is necessary to put an end to this concept confusion. According to the GEDMatch admixture analysis, the West_Asian component is very high among Turks in Afghanistan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan and Eastern Turkistan. The approach that the "Turks have no West Asian admixture" does not have a scientific basis, both according to present genetic results and medieval genetic results. ABOUT MYHERITAGE RESULTS: MyHeritage does not show your genetic results, it tries to guess your country based on your genetic results. If a Kazakh, Uzbek, or Turkmen has 15% or 20% West Asian genetic heritage, MyHeritage does not show this in its results, because it says it is normal for a Central Asian to have 15% or 20% West Asian component, and it says directly you are 40%, %50 or 60% Central Asian. Looking at the MyHeritage results, some malicious and racist people make a ridiculous claim that "Turks do not have West Asian genetic heritage. West Asia is non-Turkic". They claim this by looking at the MyHeritage results. :) These people do not know this nuance I mentioned above, because they are ignorant --> MyHeritage does not give your genetic results, it tries to guess your current country based on your genetic results. Just because MyHeritage calls someone 90% Central Asian does not mean he/she has no West Asian component. Therefore, MyHeritage results have no scientific validity. In academic articles, you cannot see MyHeritage results. In scientific publications, you will see GEDMatch analysis. They sent the following video as an evidence, but we can see that West_Asia ranks 3rd with 12% in the description section of the video. :) ruclips.net/video/W_jX4_ZbxUA/видео.html The video they posted as proof denies their arguments :) And the Hazara video they sent is 23.85% West Asian. Again, they sent a sample that proves what we said and denies what they said :) The owner of the channel shared it in the comment section. :) ruclips.net/video/kAyB-rN4wcY1/видео.html There is an example of Uzbek Turk in the link below, West Asia is in the first place: ruclips.net/video/4eT7o8NrZj4/видео.html You can see it in the pinned comment of the channel owner: 1 West_Asian 33.13 2 Atlantic_Baltic 20.74 3 Siberian 13.07 Saying that "there is no West Asian component in Turks" is a racism against Turks. @Qutluq On Sunday, November 6, 2005, an article was published in the newspaper "Apogevmatini tis Kyriakis" entitled "The DNA of the Greeks is clean" and with the subtitle "Research of Stanford Universities in the USA and Pavia in Italy" answers directly to Falmerager. The newspaper writes: "Impressive! The DNA of the Greeks (genetic composition) of the Greeks shows that 99.5% of them are pure Caucasians! (white race) Which means that the contribution to the genetic composition of Greeks, other population groups than white, is a minimum percentage, less than 0.5%! The DNA of the Greeks, as shown by a recent international scientific research, has not been influenced by Slavs, -as some claim- even by the Turks, despite 400 years of slavery! The date of spread of the genetic group J12a1h-M319 in Crete , occurred around 3100 BC. and this date is extremely important. Because it marks the border in the Neolithic Age and the Bronze Age in Crete. A period during which we have great socio-political changes from which the Minoan civilization sprang. It shows that the Cretans are descended directly from their ancestors of the Minoan civilization. In fact, we present to you a research of the University of Crete in 2012 for the Sfakion Bath which based on findings has human and -therefore based on genetic code very Greek- FINDINGS 120,000 years old! The allegations that Crete was colonized by Egypt and Libya were completely refuted because the mononucleotide polymorphism (index V13), which is typical in Crete and Mainland Greece, was not found in the slightest. That is, the results showed that there has been no genetic contact between Africa and Crete and mainland Greece for the last 5,000 years. Research has shown that modern Greeks are descended from the Greeks of the Neolithic era and the oldest Neolithic settlements have been found in Greece. It also appeared that the DNA of the Greeks is very characteristic and is the oldest in Europe. Scientists pay special attention to the fact that after a long series of research no Mongolian origin was discovered in the DNA of the Greeks, because the Turks occupied Greece for 400 years and everyone expected that there would be some connection in the DNA of the two peoples. And yet the Greek DNA has not been affected in the slightest. On the contrary, the Arabs, who had occupied Spain, put their signature on the Spanish DNA and this can be seen from the research. All the research that was done from Macedonia to Crete fully documents the genetic continuity and cohesion of the Greek population from antiquity (and from the Neolithic era) until today. Research in Europe has shown something particularly important that not only were the Greeks not genetically influenced by other peoples but instead transmitted their DNA to the rest of Europe. Essentially this is the modern scientific answer to Falmerager's theories. Another theory that claimed that the ancient Greeks were black… Well, they were never black! There are many who supported and wrote about "Black Athena" (about the Goddess Athena) and many other theories without any scientific basis. All these… anti-Greek - one might say - positions were demolished , not only by one research, but by seven different major scientific researches, of European and American researchers. Konstantinos Triantaphyllides, Professor of Genetics, Development and Molecular Biology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), and his research team participate in international research networks whose ultimate goal is to trace the biological history of European populations. This research, which concerns the genetic composition of Greeks - and other peoples - was coordinated by Stanford University in the USA, Mr. Triantaphyllides' research team and the University of Pavia in Italy. Another 5 research laboratories from different countries (from Baghdad to Moscow) also participated. The results of this research were published in the American journal "Human Genetics". We present to you the study of the Universities of Pavia and Stanford which was published as such in the World Scientific Community: Stanford University of USA-Pavia university of Italy research of greek DNA. Research Sumary: 1) The DNA of the Greeks is 99.5% WHITE. The research concluded that at a rate of over 99.5, the Greek DNA from the modern samples is the same as the DNA of the inhabitants of the areas based on the oldest samples taken from the same areas. 2) Contrary to the beliefs of many in Turkey and some Slavic nations of the former Yugoslavia, Greek DNA has not been affected, nor altered, by the mixture of Slavic or Turkish DNA, even if the Ottomans ruled much of Greece. for 400 years. 3) From a strong sample of 925 modern Greek DNA, only 0.4% showed non-white DNA. 4) To a large extent, the Greeks of ancient times "transferred" their DNA to other parts of Europe through their conquests. The study showed that, today, Greek DNA is more similar to: a) Italian DNA, b) French DNA, c) Spanish DNA, d) Turkish DNA. 5) In continuation of the above, The DNA of the Italians in modern southern Italy is the closest match to the DNA of their Greek neighbors. 6) Not only is the Greek genetic heritage clearly traceable today, but it is traceable not only among the Greeks, but also to all their neighboring populations of partial Greek origin, with clear genetic similarities. Based on samples from all over Europe that were accurately dated, the following Genetic Material Antiquity Map was created: The research goes even further: Analysis of mitochondrial DNA found that test specimens were divided into 21 groups (haplotypes) and evaluated separately for each time period, in the Middle East and Europe. Based on mathematical calculations, it is estimated that the DNA of Greek origin is as follows: 8% in recent years (about 3,000 years from today), 20% in the Neolithic period (9,000 to 3000), 44% in the last Upper Paleolithic period (14500-9000), 14.5% on average above Paleolithic era (26,000 to 14,500 years) and 11% in the early Upper Paleolithic era (45,500 -26,000). According to the above, we have very clear examples of the existence of civilized life in Greece even 50,000 years ago! And the research concludes as follows: "Greek DNA has not changed in the last 3,000 years. "Greeks are Greeks themselves according to the modern science of genetics." A photo a thousand words: Follow pronews.gr on Instagram to "see" the real world! We will go one step further and ask ourselves: But why no one refers to the -unknown to the general public- Greek populations outside Greece, such as the Greeks of Italy, the pobladores Griegos of Spain, the Hamedians of Syria, the Roman orthodox Lebanese, Pashtuns and Kalas in Asia, Araucanians in Chile, Ainu in Japan and others, who proudly assert their Greek origin? Why was no one assimilated to them? How can they be sure where they come from?

MyHeritage test results are inaccurate, as it provides "Modern Ethnicity ESTIMATES" and its ethnicity categories are extremely limited.
Turks do not have "Ancient Greek" genetic heritage.
Turks have "Native Anatolian" genetic heritage.
We can detect this fact with professional and advanced tools such as GEDmatch and G25.
MyHeritage is not able to make accurate genetic modellings because it does not have ancient or medieval categories such as "Ancient Greek", "Native Anatolian" or "Medieval Turk".
I prepared a new video showing the correct West Asian (Anatolian) and Central Asian (Turkic) percentages of modern Turkish people:
ruclips.net/video/7r66iX48A-k/видео.html

THE WEST ASIAN SITUATION:
The ethnicity MyHeritage calls "West Asian" and the admixture GEDMatch calls "West_Asian" are not the same thing.
ABOUT MYHERITAGE RESULTS:
MyHeritage does not show your genetic results, it tries to guess your country based on your genetic results.
These people do not know this nuance I mentioned above, because they are ignorant --> MyHeritage does not give your genetic results, it tries to guess your current country based on your genetic results.

@Qutluq Western Anatolians were Greek tho, and more Greeks settled in Cyprus than Phoenicians. Anatolia was not just 1 ethnic group, western Anatolian Greeks were part of Anatolia too.
(white race)
Which means that the contribution to the genetic composition of Greeks, other population groups than white, is a minimum percentage, less than 0.5%!
We present to you the study of the Universities of Pavia and Stanford which was published as such in the World Scientific Community:
Stanford University of USA-Pavia university of Italy research of greek DNA.
Research Sumary:
1) The DNA of the Greeks is 99.5% WHITE.
Based on samples from all over Europe that were accurately dated, the following Genetic Material Antiquity Map was created:

The research goes even further:
Analysis of mitochondrial DNA found that test specimens were divided into 21 groups (haplotypes) and evaluated separately for each time period, in the Middle East and Europe.
Based on mathematical calculations, it is estimated that the DNA of Greek origin is as follows:
8% in recent years (about 3,000 years from today), 20% in the Neolithic period (9,000 to 3000), 44% in the last Upper Paleolithic period (14500-9000), 14.5% on average above Paleolithic era (26,000 to 14,500 years) and 11% in the early Upper Paleolithic era (45,500 -26,000).
According to the above, we have very clear examples of the existence of civilized life in Greece even 50,000 years ago!
And the research concludes as follows:
"Greek DNA has not changed in the last 3,000 years. "Greeks are Greeks themselves according to the modern science of genetics."
A photo a thousand words: Follow pronews.gr on Instagram to "see" the real world!
@Qutluq Lydians literally mixed with the Greeks and got diluted.

Giresun is the proud of Turkey...😂
Among a small number of people who have this test done, Giresun example is the most Turkic one. In reality, I would say at least 10 cities that could yield a 30% Central Asian result.
@@fromturkiye8672 I think Karadeniz coast cities (west of Trabzon) such as Giresun is Number one, then South west Turkey, such as Denizli and Aydin. Then central Turkey, Then i think south Turkey, such as Adana and Gaziantep, there are a lot of yöruk villages around the cities. Then Balikesir and cities near by.

Is there any Turk left with at least 40% central Asia? Are you all just Turkified? 🤔
Actually, there is no serious difference between the Turkish people and the Turkic peoples. I suggest you watch my GEDMatch video.
You guys are just a joke. If they would just turkify, there would be 0% genetic connection. They mixed with the people there. Our genetics biggest part is Native Anatolian with Turkic ancestry but also Greek admixtures.
That's why we're called Anatolian Turks, we're Anatolian and Turk.

@@user-pw5pi2ii6l But Greeks does not have Turkish Dna
@@rehmanmirza6266 they do have turkish dna. ruclips.net/video/vAo3WRNoAic/видео.html also the reason why turks (especially in istanbul) have greek dna is that istanbul was a cosmopolitan city, another reason is that people were classified by their religion and a turk and a greek that had the same religion got married. but the reason that makes most sense is already explained by the creator. native anatolian people's dna is classified as greek dna. it's very bizarre an anatolian turkish person, for example someone from ankara, having %25+ greek dna because even the times of the war of independence, these cities were undeveloped and people were pretty much monoethnical/isolated.
