Kite Party 18 (x3), Huntington Beach CA (2022)

Kite Party is a kite event put on by Kite Connection in Huntington Beach, CA. It is put on every year but, due to Covid, it had been postponed for 2 years (hence, "x3"). The event is just a lot of kite fliers that get together and have some fun over the weekend.

Probably not... just not enough people/interest.

Winds looked better than what the web cam showed. Kite tail eating palm trees seemed to behave. Outrageous food, lodging and transportation costs were hard to reconcile. Good to see that those who attended appeared in good health.

They were not bad. Light in the morning and then picking up. I went over the expense in my head for flight (cheap), rental (semi cheap) and hotel (not cheap) and yeah... I try not to think about it as it's expensive! But it is such a great event.
