Even though I'm not an addict or an alcoholic, I can really see that I need to get help for my anger and other issues. Deanna said she didn't know who she was. I'm 55 and I have no idea who I am. Thank you for sharing your life experiences. Thank you Jason and Falon for another great video.
Sorry I'm just getting a chance to look at the comments now. But yes, a huge part of my addiction was fueled by my anger and I came to realize that part of it was not knowing who I was or what I actually wanted out of my life. I wish you all the best! 😉🧡🍂
I knew someone who was a very heavy smoker who studied with JWs but never got baptized (or baptised)!!! After returning from a KH meeting or after a home study, the first thing he would want to do would be to smoke a few cigarettes. Still - it was because he was smoking that they could not consider him for baptism!!! I understand people have had similar experiences to this with the Mormons.
June mentions that she would think “oh it must be just me…I got this wrong…” just like what I grew up with. I would think the Org propagates that thinking. They remind us how “we are just dust” and tell us “Your heart can’t be trusted.” The Org compels you to attribute all your achievements to “Jehovah doing it.” I actually was talking to my JW mom today about this, and she tried to make me think I am the only one feeling this way, and said “Oh you lack faith!” It’s always blamed on us. 😒 Anywaaayyzzz… lol
Yup! All the glory goes to Jehovah and all the problems are yours! Nothing is EVER to do with the governing body of course and you are never aloud to question anything! Yet, the truth doesn't mind being questioned, and a lie does not like being challenged, goes the saying... 🤔 💗

I’m over 60, but I love composing and editing music when I can. I use Adobe Audition, Live, have used a lot Reason Propellerhead, Fruityloops or whatever lol, Magix Music Creator, a bunch of iphone music apps, that are synthesizers and music editing. One easy one is GarageBand. I try to be creative making my own beats. So, am actually planning to do more with it. I don’t know what Ai you are talking about. You’ll have to tell me more if that’s okay, when you can. Anyway, I kind of have just been focusing on exJW research and stuff, putting my music creativity on the back burner. A friend used to come and sing a pre written song I’d have composed. Then I’d have my music that I created for the song, arranged on multiple tracks. Then I’d surprise her, send the finished product to her! We were making a music video, and I did make some low end videos. We were called Dollhouse Trance. You might still find us on Soundclick.com. I have some beats I created on SoundCloud and some might be still on Myspace. 😝That all was so fun! It’s been years now though! I have gotten better at it, but then have some computer setbacks. My upright computer has errors, can’t repair yet. My laptop is fine, but haven’t done much music on there. Anyway, you guys got me so excited about music creation! Sorry to go on and on, but I’d love to see what music composing and creating, playing you guys do! 😁👍 I hope you keep creating exjw videos as well as music too! I’m not saying I’m great at it, maybe even is weird, but it’s fun, and that’s what i think counts.

I read the JW Bible initially, then went back and read the King James, a Catholic version and a non-denominational new contemporary version. So I read it cover to cover 4 times in 2 years. I agree, the new world translation is terrible.

I have seen this happen myself with 2 different ppl that studied with my father for years but couldn't kick the cigarettes!
