Thanks Drew, i tried your QDF mix suggestion right after I saw this video and it did worked for me. I experienced mortalities recently with my succies using the common potting mix. One thing i observed also with heavy pumice and crh on the mix when i repotted my succies is it became very hard and clumpy over time which i think have caused the suffocation on the roots. Thanks again 😊

True, clay pots considerably wicks away moisture real fast hence its ideal for succulents pero for me, based doon sa soil mix na iyon, sobrang mabilis siya matutuyo.
Sinundan ko yung soil mix na iyon pero nasa plastic pots lang instead. Mukhang maganda naman siya since very light siya sa ugat nung succulent

When I started planting succulents 3months ago, I just bought the ready-made Masitera CNS mixture but I didn't like how the CRH is so powdery and is washed off when watering and what is left are pure pumice on top. So I changed my soil mixture with more organic material. I added the plain rice hull, then some crushed dried leaves/barks and a little garden soil together with the usual pumice/CRH mixture. I am not sure with coco peat though since as what I've seen in Kalei Plants channel, if it's hot especially in the lowlands, the roots gets too much heat but maybe that's because he's not watering very often but if in your case, you water them often then maybe it works. I might try but just 10% of the coco peat. Anyway, let us know after 6months. Thanks!

Tinry ko po ito sa dalawa kong succulents. Maganda naman po siya since very light and fluffy yung mix for the succulents.
I-hold ko muna po ba yung pagdilig after repotting?
