Due to everyone’s comments I officially started using my Ninja Pads today! I have never found them to be the most affective but I’m sticking to them and giving them a fair go because everyone says so! Thanks 😊
I'm amazed that Jess does the full interior and the exterior on the same day~I don't think people realize just how much work it is to detail a car and how long it takes. It's a huge amount of work.
Great job Jess. Your customers are getting a meticulous detailer. I just did a maintenance wash today on our coated car and it was 2 hours. Never touched the inside. Good work takes time. Keep it up!
I'm sure the customer told you that vehicle looks like new. You definitely did a transformation on it. I hardly ever use just straight steam...P&S Express with steam and a little agitation works wonders! I also like the drill brush technique on the leather seats definitely gone to add that one to my leather cleaning process. Great job!
That makes more sense because honestly, steam on it’s own never seems to actually clean! I wouldn’t use the drill brush on normal seats but these seats were baaaad! And using my hands was way too much work in this situation. Thanks for the input!
Personally would not advise using a drill brush some leather is delicate or if it’s on the way out the door you can damage it. I personally use a scrub ninja and Koch chemie POL STAR a dedicated leather cleaner and protectant🙂👍
I don’t care how this is going to sound! Im a man, I detail full time and this is not easy on the body. I’m 200lbs 37lbs in my prime and I can tell you this ain’t easy work and sciatica is killing me lol You are a trooper & you are awesome!!!
Jess, one of the best Tire and Wheel cleaners I've used is the new Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Hyper Foam Wheel Cleaner and Tire Prep~ Foams up amazing, Releases the tire browning instantly and has a built in iron remover and rust inhibitor.
Oooh, i like that!! Thank you because I really don’t love Dark Fury for tires. It’s amazing for bugs and tar but it doesn’t do a whole lot for the iron and I don’t want to use a Decon on the tires ‘cause that’s expensive.
Initially I had a dental pick that I ordered off of Amazon, but I lost it! That was my favorite one because it was very fine. But then I saw these at Harbor Freight, they are called a “Hook & Pick Set” so I purchased these. They work great, they just aren’t as fine as the initial dental pick I purchased.
Great job Jess! I would suggest checking different detergents to make your work easier and more efficient, e.g. I personally like Koch Chemie, their interior cleaners don't require that much massaging :) And good luck in your business!
Job well done.. I personally use the P&s interior cleaner with a small agitation with the detail, brush, followed up with the steam cleaner, for the crevices and small areas. Perhaps you can give that a go and let me know if you how you like it. Not to say that my method is the right one or end I’ll be all. Lol😅
I have come to learn in detailing that there is no “right” way to do anything! Everyone has their own process that works for them…as long as we get the results at the end, that’s all that matters, right?! I will give that a try! I think the steam is great for some things but, like you said, I really think that P&S Xpress with agitation works wonders and actually CLEANS deep! So I can totally see how steam after the fact would work great!
For some reason it was the first time I thought of using them 🤦🏼♀️ but they were incredibly effective on this interior and saved a lot of work on the hands!
A lot of what you said wouldn’t come clean will. It all comes down to technic and having the proper equipment. Get some ninja scrubber for the leather seats, that and P&S express cleaner will speed up the process.
I have 3 month’s experience and know for a fact that I don’t know jack but what I’ve learned through this community along the way. What would you have done for the massive amounts of sand in the floor? Their package entailed a vacuum on the upholstery so I wasn’t going to try and spend any more time on the than that. I do have the ninja scrubs and they are awesome but I knew with how dirty this interior was and the amount of details I had this week, I’d kill my hands and wrists trying to scrub the entire vehicle. I’d only gone for the drill brush to save the wear on my body.
When I have sand in the floor I either use my tornador to blow deep into the carpet while vacuuming or I sometimes use my back massager to vibrate the carpet while vacuuming
Hey! Just water and Isopropyl Alcohol. You have to wipe windows down a bunch of times….it’s tedious. I use a dawn dish soap and water solution first. It helps get a lot of that grease off. Then go through with the alcohol. I’m not saying the IPA is the best, I’ve just seen a lot of talk about it and figured I’d try it for a bit!
I don't want to get on my high horse today but I will make a comment. I admire your ability to deal with the filth. I actually had a hard time watching this video. I have been clinically diagnosed with moderate OCD. There are many subcategories of OCD. I have a couple and one is germaphobia. There is no way I would let any part of my skin touch any part of that interior. I was fascinated that you wore shorts. Jess, God Bless you. BTW, real OCD gets worse with age. This was just a general comment. And, I don't do interiors.
I have a bit of OCD as do many of us that are car detailing enthusiasts. My ocd seems to be that when I look at something, whether its a messy yard or a dirty car~my mind just wont let go of the idea of transforming it into what it can be. I guess you know you have ocd when you drive on the highway and see high grass and want to pull over and cut it LOL. Take care.
Done great job, hard work pays off, ninja scrubber be much better for doors, not harsh as nail brush, once use you won't go back, done great job

Haha they are…i have issues 🤣🤣 It is exhausting. I try to just take it one step at a time.

Great idea on the drill brush👏🏾👏🏾

It is definitely tough on the body, especially on those real hot days 🥵 Thank you and right back at ya!
That center consul came out beautiful 🎉

hey jess what do you call that tool @12:49 ... you really have good videos btw!

That little pick work of yours is why they pay you the big bucks, great work!👏🔥
Haha, thank you!
More of these types of videos please!
You got it!
Surprised I didnt come across you sooner. Its great seeing a woman doing this work.
I dont 😂know how anyone has the patience to record their day!
Thank you! 😂 There’s a reason I don’t do it every detail
Im making a reel today. What a great idea to send it to the customer!
49 min of video shortened to 7
Great results. Enjoyed following along
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Jess, for the trunk carpet you can shave the carpet with an electric razor and it will remove the embedded material.
Interesting! Thanks!
@@DetailWithJess no problem! I used to try like heck to get it clean and someone on the Autogeek forum recommended this.
Great job Jess!

Thank you! That’s the hard part of starting out - sooo many trials until you find the right products 🤪 I know Koch Chemie is top notch though 👌🏻
They are not that expensive, most of the cleaners are to be diluted 1:5 - 1:20 so I’d say final price is quite affordable 👌

Thank you!
Great work Jess , took that older Honda and gave it back some life
Thank you!
That was a good video. I’m a fan 🏁
Thank you!
I love using the drill brushes
For some reason it was the first time I thought of using them 🤦🏼♀️ but they were incredibly effective on this interior and saved a lot of work on the hands!
Maybe you already do but if not, hit the plastic wheel wells with the tire shine.
Love your work!
I did 😁 Thank you!
Very hard work! good job! :)
Thank you!

I completely understand

Hey Jess I started about same time. What is ipa solution? I am struggling with windshields. Any help would be appreciated.

great job I'm just curious you said it took 7 hours how much did you charge on a job like that
Thank you, my 3rd row vehicle pricing is $307 right now.
you did a great job I just thought you would of charged more @@DetailWithJess
FYI...I would NEVER use a drill brush on leather, only a leather brush. You run a risk of damaging the leather?
Agree - these weren’t real leather. They’re more like vinyl.
That car looks good Jess
Thank yoU!
@@DetailWithJess you’re welcome and I do the same thing when I detail
You might try Auto Fiber Ninja Scrub Pads.
I think I’m the only person that doesn’t like them 😂 I have them..
@@DetailWithJess Oh 😅
@@DetailWithJessthe scrub ninjas are trash what you want to get is the Summo scrub pads. Thank me later.
💪🏽💪🏽
Try air gun in the vacuum at the same time
I often do…I also just purchased a tornador to do that, I just didn’t have time to set it up 😁
Noice! So how much did you charge for the seven hrs you put into it?
The detail was $307 plus she left me a $50 tip.
