I appreciate your honesty! I’ve cleaned a few family cars in my life and actually enjoyed it, also just got my first truck that was owned by 2 previous owners that used it for WORK, so the truck was a mess and I really enjoyed cleaning it!😂 So I’m considering trying this new field of detailing, like you said I’m not passionate about cars, but in my case I enjoy cleaning and also think that cleaning cars is easier then cleaning houses 😆 Anyways, I appreciate the content. It's really like your doing a magic trick when clients see their cars looking and smelling better than the day they picked them up from the dealers lot. Keep up the amazing work.

I found that spraying the dog hair with APC or window cleaner breaks the static clean and makes the dog hair much easier to remove

Have you ever thought about working for h and r block, most of it is just talking and sales, while their software does alot of the tax calculations. I kind of feel like consulting other businesses with taxes and financial planning is something you might be interested in.

I understand your sentiment on detailing. If I did it every day, I would be totally burned out and start hating it. But luckily when customers call and Im either to busy or just don't want the job, I sell the job to another detailer(s) I know in the area who I can trust to still do good work. So in that way, it's the perfect side gig. I still enjoy my maintenance clients cause it's easy money. But I pretty much outsource the disaster details nowadays, but still make money. Btw what city did you move to in Idaho, I know people in Boise and used to build houses in Eagle a while back.

Hate the burnout cycles! Totally get where you're coming from.

Good to hear from you. I wish you all the best in your coaching & other businesses. Detailing can be very physical and can take a toll on the body. Hook a hose to your compressor drain

Bare in mind that this is not real leather, it is nulux, do not apply something agressive to it, other then light detergent, ph neutral.

Get a headache rack

You really should do your finally interior clean and protection all at the same time and not go back into it after doing the exterior because your reintroducing outside dirt etc going back into the vehicle do ALL the interior completely and don't go back inside then do the exterior and don't go back inside

Fantastic video but you should care about swirl marks and scratches and you MUST ON ALL VEHICLES SNOW FOAM 1ST then rinse then SNOW FOAM again and on the 2nd snow foam use the foam as a shampoo and THEN contact wash with multiple separate microfiber noodle mitts to reduce the risk of introducing swirl marks and scratches and you should do a ceramic quick detailer spray as a drying aid therefore saying time but giving your customers a deeper shine protection and water beading whether you like it or not it looks good and gives the vast majority of customers a visual que that their vehicle is protected and shiny

Like Pan the Organizer, just do new cars, not those dumpster fires of extremely dirty interiors. I mean if that's possible for you.

Great job! I also detail. I am considering charging certain cars more for dog hair. It’s typically the carpet that dictates how easily it’ll come out. Subaru and CRV are nightmares depending on the year. You did awesome. I’m convinced tweezers are the ONLY OPTIONS TO REMOVE 100% and I WILL NEVER DO THAT HAHA CHEERS.

I've been watching your channel, and seen you grow as a person. Well done, and love the honesty. I do detailing because I enjoy it, and seeing the end result of returning something to nearly new is a buzz - I'm just restoring my twin axle caravan at the moment. Thank God I only do it for fun, and not as a profession, but in my 50s, I also do it to keep fit and mobile, even if my knees and shoulders hate me for it! The way to ensuring you can make choices is through financial freedom, so plan to pay everything off, save as much as you can, and invest in three bands: risky with high returns (25%), non-risky and low returns (50%), and speculative investment, perhaps in a new trade or business (the last 25%). Also, with your skills in online marketing - that is a profession in its own right, and you might do well to offer that as a service too, and gives you a route that is less physical. Thank you once again for your candid articles, and positive attitude - it is a great fillip in this depressing world.

Spending money on training is a waste. You haven't been thought correctly. All you need to correct clear coat is a rotary polisher, set to speed 5 or 6 with very slow hand movements and bring that pad on edge, you will have perfect paint in No time and save a lot of money.

How many cars can you wash with the 65 gallon tank

I am using both P&S Interior and Absolute for door trim and inside the vehicles... But I'm finding myself using the absolute for most everything, including the windows, as it seems to be accomplishing the tasks well and I love the smell... maybe give it a try after your out of ONR...
