A great song from Physical Graffiti. Awesome drumming. Cheers! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🥁
A Led Zep 4 outtake too
One of John’s simplest structure drumming. Thanks for breaking it down you again showed us the hi hat and the breaks parts of the song.
Love, Love, Love this track! Bonhams drumming is candy for my ears and you play it so perfectly, nail it every time!! Thank You!!! 👍✌️
Your snare is killer bro Thanks man!
Sublime performance of a sublime performance! A joy to see and hear...
🔥
Love this song love your playing Top of the pops mate
Sounds amazing. Thank God you’re as gifted as you are because as a bonzo fan that wishes to play the drums i can see how bonzo played.
Perfect! And definitely not as easy as it looks.
...that's very, very true. Cheers
👍
Thank you! Your toms sound sweet, wish I could hear in person
🤘
Sick! You should enter the iRock Drum Contest!
I love this song ❤❤
Great! 🎉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Sounding great as always 👏 Same Stairway fill at 2:55
Love it, cheers for George!
I'm always so amazed by how you capture the sound, the groove, the power, and the subtlety of the great John Bonham. When you play with PFOZ, it's like Bonzo is still here.
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Right In Bonzo’s pocket. Nailed every fill even the signature “blushda” near end. Bonham would love it!
You are the best JB mimic on earth, what a talent, thanks George. Oh and the kit sounds spot on.
@@trevdowson5810 🙏🏻
Ahhh Ahhh Feel alright!! Yeah!!
We got the FLUUUU, although i don't like this song because of Robert's vocals i always enjoy the masterful drums of George Fludas, the top Bonham expert :) Fantastic!
🙌🏻❤️🙏🏻
always great to watch you play George
Thank you!
Very nice 👍 You can really tell that this was recorded during the Headley Grange Zep IV sessions with the use of that ride bell and the herta fill.
Great stuff! The fill at the 2:55 mark is killer!
The same fill is in Stairway to heaven. Killer fill 🔥
I have been waiting for this ❤
Damm I forgot about that one. Great job. Fun drum parts
Awesome cover of a classic track... really well done dude !
Note for note
Real nice song pick and perfect performance 😎👍
Night Flight is a perfect example of Bonham’s restraint in the studio, he always knew how much was enough….He was a different guy live, but on the studio tracks he instinctively kept it simple, always maintaining that incredible one and only Bonham feel. For him to have understood that speaks to his brilliance…
Thank you George for another wonderful performance, the PG stuff really takes me back to a great time….
Absolutely agreed! Thanks.
👍😎🤘🤙👊Bang on the money bro!! The fills are so clear and well executed we can finally see how Bonham played this often overlooked classic.
Kit sounds excellent mate✌
Thanks for putting a big 😃 smile 😃 on my face this Tuesday evening!!! The kit sounds great and the snare is on another level!!!
Thank you!
Great version my brother! Such a cool vibe on this track
Great playing and sounds
Killer!😎
Your feel for Bonzo is unmatched! Thank you for sharing it with all of us! 💙
Perfection 😊
Los this track , doesn’t get enough love I feel but def a sweet steady groove awesome stuff brOooo !
I really like the tracks off of physical graffiti that were recorded during Houses and IV.
Oh yeah! I was literally going through your list and trying to think of one you haven’t done that would be just great to hear. I gave up around HOFN and FYL, but you nailed it! Night Flight! Of course! I was thinking about Presence, but totally overlooked PG! I’m literally dancing in my living room!❤
Awesome. Thanks yet again.
Haha! Perfect. Love it, and love that bonham repeats the stairway fill. I wonder if he ever clocked that later on….
Solid!
Just another note-perfect performance, amazing work as always George, I was excited to see those fills.
Thanks for posting!
George - Great as always and one of my favorite Zep albums and songs.
One of my favorite Zep tunes. Nailing it as usual George ! Thx,
LOVE this song!!!
Great job...as usual!
I had the original box set, and this song was not on it. I still remember discovering the Physical Graffiti album. This is one of my favorite songs. Well played.
Tone and talent and soul, you truly got it all. Big fan my friend.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice
Excellent cover of a supremely underrated song! Nailed it note for note. I always thought it was interesting how Bonham plays the same fill as on Stairway to Heaven at 2:54. I'll bet they recorded both songs around the same time and it's just what he had in his toolbox at the time. The song itself sounds sorta loosely structured: Bonham isn't playing the same exact fills and patterns throughout the song, and the way it concludes with Robert's grunts is a quintessential jam session ending. Fun stuff! Cheers!
He does that signature“blooshda” triplet fill several times on record-
Stairway to heaven
Night Flight - IV sessions so you’re right saying it was in his toolbox at the time
Hots on for Nowhere- slight variation of it also similar to the fill in break of Black Dog
Nice hats
Men with headphones on that tuning is perfect. Everything sounds like the record
Thanks
I only regret that I have but one upvote to give for this video
This was the second album I ever bought I still have it I used to play drums to it all the time and guitar.. in my time dying what's another one I would crank out
Sounding great as always George! 👍🏻😎
Earl! Thanks , as always! Hope you're doing well.
@@BONHAMOLOGY I’m doing well and staying busy! I’m going to the Music City Drum Show this year! I hope you are doing well too! Let me know if you gig down in S FL! Stay healthy!
@@earldrum That's great, I'm glad to hear it. I haven't seen you much on the socials.
@@BONHAMOLOGY George, I choose RUclips over Instagram. I can’t keep up with Instagram and I never got any traction their, but I have like 9k subs here. So all my activity is RUclips and I’m less stressed with keeping up with the socials game! But I see you post less here on RUclips. Good to hear from you! Keep at it!
Very Uriah Heep sound frim Zeppelin for night flight i wonder George
Also if ya dig and enjoyed this song which was my favorite hippy tune 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on RUclips. 😀
💜🔥🥁🍷
Man, that kit sounds killer. I think the guy beating on them has a bit to do with that though 🖤
Thanks 🙏🏻
BONHAMOLOGY, brought to you by Adidas
🤣
Even on a so call simple structured tune John Bonham said no I’m throwing in some fills so your average drummer will not learn this on his 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th try 😂lol.
How many of you know can hear the next song on the album….immediately?
What the wanton song
@@fasteddie8782Yes the wanton song just pointing out how the next song comes immediately to mind
Punctuation is can could be your friend
Excellent but your tuning might be a wee bit low ! Snare sounds fantastic !
What, no extended version? I want my money back haha. I'm sad that Night Flight's big drum fill always has to play second fiddle to Stairway's big drum fill. Basically the same fill, but I guess Stairway came first and some would argue, is a more well known song than Night Flight lol.
The unhurried articulation between hands and feet when a floor tom is used in a fill is the money, George.
George, ist it on the Snare G on Buttom and F on Top ? Greetings from Germany. Peter
Hi Peter, I'm not sure of the notes, I don't tune to specific pitch
...I think it is a G on Top, and a F# on Bottom. Greetings from Germany.
Hey do you think JB used that same fill on stairway to heaven?
Yes
Same 1971 recording sessions btw
