Growing up I never thought I would say that I would miss the MD88 or the 727 for that matter. I actually do miss them. The engines on those planes had so much character!
@@justinisapilot I always knew that when all of those classics we’re going to retire one day, it always brought a tear to my eye knowing that the modern aviation that is replacing “True” aviation would not even come close to a 727, DC-9 etc. it’s so sad…
These are still flying? I flew on these once and I enjoyed that it still felt like a plane that you can hear and feel, instead of a flying computer where you're completely insulated

I couldn’t agree more! But, unfortunately no, they retired the Maddogs in 2020 😔 all we have left are the 717’s
