I followed a pattern I saw while you were making your bass line and it honestly was so helpful. I took it as the gaps and worked it from there. 4 gaps between the root note down, etc. Now I can work on my sample pack and get better sounding bass/music! Thank you so so much!
Be giving these a go been in the longest creative block of my life these past few months but i feel something is coming back. Keep up the good work man
Bro i really love your content, short and useful!! Could you also make a video about song arrangement? Like any tips or a little guideline to arrange a full song in a propper way? Would be cool, thanks!"!
Man i respect that you can do this so easily, when i do the same it sounds like a**, like i have a random instrument i like, make simple melody with rythm and the chords, yours sounds like half a song mine sounds like the cat walked over the keyboard. But I guess that where Talent and experience comes in even so ive done fl studio for quiet some time now
The thing that's missing in a lot of these are chord progressions. You can't just put any notes together and have them sound good, but if you look up common chord progressions, those can show you a good structure to build off.
Been binge watching your videos over the last few months, v helpful man. Got logic a few weeks ago and already have some IDs but not sure what to do with them!
Every video from you is a treasure for my study!! thank you so much, I look forward to new videos every week!! I've a question on the progression chord, the rhythm pattern chord doesn't convince me: if I loop chord+melody, it give me a sensation of no resolution... probably I've to try to change something in the pattern...
I just found your page. Im new to producing but I have a pretty good understanding of the fundamentals. I have all the equipment needed but I'm stumped on how to actually use Logic Pro and how to properly connect my interface and microphone, what my speaker settings should be, how to record professional sounding vocals, and pretty much how to make a song start to finish in full. Have you posted a video yet on this and if so can you link it?
hey at the 1:00 mark when you begin putting down the green notes, is that just the same note repeatedly or did you use an arp for that? thanks in advance
Well actually i watched most of your videos in two days but I'm tryna do it on bandlab on my phone but would it be good if just copy your melodies and chords from your vids to make a song or just try cause on phone it isn't working but still is it good to do or shoud i just buy a laptop and fl studio
People been doing it for like 25 years or more but I still can not fathom making music without any actual input with hardware. Clicking in the piano roll. I guess I’ll just never get it.
Thanks for the tips. Often times we don't know how to get started so this was helpful Hebrews 9:28 (KJV) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. // Remember your Bible (or free Bible app) and keep on praying and making music
Been in a creative rut for a while now and your vids have helped me slowly get out of it, thanks!
Same for 6 months now i cant create any song or remix 🥲🥲💀

wait until AI is programming music for us.
@@AlexRome Who's to say AI isn't already dropping notes and tunes? Maybe that's why the popular songs all sound alike 😂

“I can’t show you all a million and a half ways in this video.”
Well not with that attitude.
You sure there are million and half, last I counted it was million and a quarter. Please prove me wrong.
Yo send me this! I'm going to get an artist I work with on it. Miss you brov. Let's get together again soon.
miss you too mike! let's get together for sure.
Thanks for the tips. Often times we don't know how to get started so this was helpful
