As a Blues fan and a fan of Berube, this will be a disaster for the leafs
Hell ya let's go. Berube is the no BS type of coach this group desperately needs.
I like that Berube hire because the weaknesses of this roster will be addressed.

This SHOULD be a good hire. I wouldn't be too excited about the hire, but Berube was probably the best option available. Considering prior reports that suggested that Toronto was talking to Rod Brind'Amour, I am going to assume he is staying in Carolina at this point.

Berube always had his best seasons in his first season at team. So lets see what kind a boost Toronto can get. Berube playoff record is 491, but if you take out miracle run, its only 379 what is lower than Keefe 432, but Toronto had to change coach and he was probably best available if you dont want take Suter. Let's see if Rob re-sign in Carolina and i dont think Tampa is firing Cooper. Congratz on Berube hiring :)

OMG ! Start planning the parade ! LOL ! This franchise hasn't played in a Stanley Cup Finals series since 1967. A coaching change won't bring a Cup - not even close.

Not going to happen. Marner plays his contract out this upcoming season then walks and the Leafs get nothing. That will teach the fans to be more careful for what they wish for.

nope. fired Babcock , Keefe too. its the hockey team not the coach. Cap top heavy on players who do pretty much nothing in the playoffs. 1-21 on the powerplay . brutal !

This is going to be an unpopular opinion but I don't like the hire for the Leafs. I love Berube but I'm not sure he's the right fit for Toronto. Again hope I'm wrong but I just have a feeling this is not the answer with where the Leafs are today.
