This rather brought tears to my eyes, because many years ago I went with my mother, who would in time succumb to dementia, to Birmingham for the Christmas Fare. We hadn't gone before and didn't know what to expect. There was a very deep icy fog and out of nowhere we saw a misty glow of lights and music, and suddenly decorated stalls of German food and beer, and lines of other provenders. It was all very frosty, and it was all very magical.
Now I have to say that I have followed your channel for quite some time, and it has given me the greatest pleasure to go long with you in all your lovely wanderings around parts of our country. My heartfelt best wishes that you have a happy Christmas with your folks, and all good health in the new year. Robert, UK.

The first normal Christmas for us since before COVID I'm pleased to say. I loved Christmas as a child, then got rather cynical about it all, now I'm very much back into it. More than ever, I think. NOEL, NOEL, TO YOU BOTH while ya'll are in Manchester! Looks like a great holiday time. It's very cold with a colder wind blowing but a sunny day. It's 4:15 p.m. and I am preparing a congealed salad for Christmas Day. My family enjoys this so much with it's sour cream and cream cheeze with sugar and pecans. Very good! Have several dishes to prepare before family arrive. I look forward to having them. I'm sorry it's raining and I wish much blessing and have a joyous time with families.
