I have a couple of the Mermaze Winter Waves line and honestly they are some of the most beautiful dolls I own. I just wish MGA would put out other fantasy/mythical based dolls in the Mermaze line.

Wouldnt say they are back from the dead sadly. Just the already produced dolls that retailers in america didnt want. The exact same thing happened to the last wave of novi stars. They ended up on the entertainer :D got them back in the day for 10€ a piece.

Mermaidz Casea has gone for the Grannycore nightwear look which I completely respect. They're still trying to sell through on the Mermaze dolls at Smyths Toys here in Ireland at a reduced price. It was never a line that interested me if I'm honest but they seemed like interesting dolls.
They're so beautiful once you unbox them and have them in hand.
Avoid Riviera. Her doll is known for shedding her hair like crazy (wish I had known that before I bought her).
I honestly just need their heads MGA!! I never cared about how the tails looked, because I love giving them new bodies to elevate them anyway! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make these available! And not just on some weird third party website! I own all of the Mermaze Mermaidz dolls, and would love/appreciate these too!

I ferl like the Winter Waves was a step in the right direction and these new ones look cool too, but they need more variety (not just mermaids).
The Anlily doll is so pretty, never heard of that brand! Daya is my favorite head sculpt from Barbie

Love Mermaze Dolls so much, I put some them on different bodies and others I display as mermaids. They are with Shadow High for me somewhat of the most beautiful playline dolls from the past few years. Recently finally got Monroe and she is definitely one of my top favourites, she even stunned me more in real life. I hope there will be another release somedays and they only ditched the side line, what‘s sad enough.

I only recently got in to collecting Mermaze mermaidz dolls myself and I'm currently getting hold of the Slumber Party line from Entertainer they are so cheap so been easy to buy them I've got three so far :) hope we get more dolls honestly i love them. Would love stands to be a constant thing and tail articulation.

I just want Mermaze to add a bend in the knee or some increased articulation. Mattel made it work with The Little Mermaid dolls. Until they do that, I’ll going to limit myself to the 3 I already own… that won’t stand up to save their lives, even with stands.

the art therapy barbie works for me as my outside appearance rarely matches my internal feelings but that's pretty specific to autism

The Barbie Dream Closet looks cute. Personally I could do without the artwork of fashion items on the shelves and hanging in the closet. I think it would be fun to customise the closet and paint over the printed items.

Sooooo good to see you challenging @Mattel. The #BarbieExtra line should never have been cancelled, just held back for a while so that the movie lines could get the sales then re launch Extra. I LOVE Barbie but I don’t want regular dolls, I want #Barbiecore, Jem aesthetic. Bring back the fun #Mattel
yeah the career dolls are boring because they are so stiff. I miss the times when barbie was fun to dress

The Alily dolls are cute, but the styling is atrocious. Those outfits would have been cute and cutting-edge in, MAYBE, 2005/2006?
I'm NOT happy that Mermaze Mermaids are still alive, i hate those dolls, they are HIDEOUS, they don't look like mermaids AT ALL, the designs are so stupid and no sense for mermaids, the lack of articulation at the tail for the price is ridiculous, and last but not least, the color change effect is SO overused and boring at this point
I'm so glad that Mattel recently is making beautiful mermaid Barbie dolls thanks to the talented designer Angel Kent who undertand how a true mermaid should look, a magical fantasy creature with a FISH tail
