    Loved the recipe. Couldn't find daikon in my rural town so I used cucumber and it was still just as delicious and satisfying

    I can't wait to make this recipe today! I have friends that have made it using other recipes and it has a bitter aftertaste. How do I prevent that from happening?

      Might consider cutting back on Daikon because it has a slight pungent odor AND add less sugar to prevent the process of fermentation?

    Please líst the formula for the mixture to soak carrots and white radish

      Ratio 2:1 , 2 cups of water to 1 cup of vinegar. Add in 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt to the mixture, stir and pour when done. Realistically you would need more than just a cup or two, I use 4 cups of water to 2 cups of vinegar in my mixture to fill up the container.

      Nope, as many as you like. Some prefer just carrot while others prefer both.

      The vinegar easily dissolves the sugar so no need to cook anything.

      @@airishviscara2326 Store them in the fridge and it's ready to eat the next day. No fermentation involved the vinegar and the sugar give it a tad of sweetness with some acidity. Goes really well with Banh Mi or any other sandwiches like pull pork, etc.

      Let them seat at room temperature for about an hour and you are good to go.

    You never mentioned the red chili pepper flakes kind of a pretty important part of the ingredient list.

      Phala Roth it doesn’t matter if you’re making at home or commercial. We still have to use a kitchen gloves to prepare our food especially this pandemic going around.

      @@MM-oj4qp if you dont wash the gloves between touching surfaces, its more dirty than your hands... r u gonna switch gloves everytime you touch something else? Hands that are washed is way more hygienic than using the same gloves for the whole process....
