The new throttle and e brake lever go next to the grips, according to the images on the V3 upgrade page. The earlier levers were curved for more reach. These levers need to go immediately next to the grips.

Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed 😀😀🙌 The problem with fitting them the other way as it pushes the brake levers toward the middle of the handle bars making it more difficult for your fingers to pull them easily, both ways probably work though 👍👍

Even tho it's still really cold here in Canada I was able to test a bit more the V3, I have to admit the Ludo mode is highly adictive, nevertheless I had an overall 10% increase in range (5 km) wich is never a bad thing. The smoothness of both throttle is amazing. The controller reached temperature of 50 degrés centrigrade during hard riding and going up hill and with strong regens, something to keep in mind.

    • @RIDEGLIDE

Hi William, we might look at them but we have had a few in for repair and the quality was super good but the newer models maybe better. Also the scooters don’t appear to be made in the UK but possibly branded by a UK company but they are a Chinese generic scooter design. Would be great to get clarity on that 👍👍

  • @vwbora26

On a 2500$+ scooter a sine wave controller and hall effect throttle is what should be the norm, I'm glad Apollo realise that and very happy with my V3 upgrade. Another great effect should be more range, can't wait to test that out. It could be nice if you compare range on V2 and V3 together.

    • @RIDEGLIDE

guys and hope to get a clear answer to help me decide bcs im really really tired of buying another scooter each 3 months so i really need the best one that will not make me think to get another one better in few mobths: knowing the Burn e2 72v system is more efficient but its pack is build with crap cells and 28ah capacity with 30a controllers 1000w more torque oriented motors (torque version) compared to the blast max cells that got more capacity 21700 50A better motors controllers but with lg50lt that are not crazy good too after my experience
im really lost and cant decide between both please help me

    • @RIDEGLIDE

To get the grips off quick and easy, use an air compressor (a real one like you'd use for power tools, not the tiny battery operated kind). Put the air nozzle just under the edge of the grip and blow under the grip while pulling it off. Cover the end with your palm if it isn't closed off. It will pop right off. Spray some hairspray into the grip before putting it back on and it will slip right on (and stay put once it dries).

I had the chance to test out a v3 phantom (upgraded v2) and was able to reach the max advertised top speed of 65km/h without issue on like 60% battery. Don't forget that rider weight can have a noticeable effect on top speed, so possibly if you're a larger guy the top speed will be lower.

@@keptick yup rider weight definitely has a big effect on acceleration, top speed and range 👍👍

This is the most confusing review ever made. You just started dismantling wires and did not explain a bit why. Poorly made review if you were to ask me

Thanks for watching, hopefully you found some part of it enjoyable. The idea is that Apollo are offering the upgrade but we wanted to see exactly how simple it is to do yourself 👍
