      Give us victory Mondays off when your football team wins that Sunday and make the Super bowl an official national holiday so the following Monday is off and he's got my vote. Make football fandom great again! If a reality TV show host can be president it wouldn't be surprising at this point if a athlete could be VP. We already have former pro athletes in Congress.

    My favorite Rodgers "putting others before himself" moments are when he had a solve for COVID and a solve for quick returns from an Achilles rupture. He didn't tell anybody what he was doing differently - just stayed vague and smirked and told us to do our own research. He then proceeded to get COVID in Nov '21 and didn't come back early from the Achilles.

      He made a healthy recovery from covid because nearly everyone that's under 45 and doesn't have extreme health issues recovers from covid. BUT refusing to get vaccinated meant that he was more likely to catch covid, had it in his system longer, and was more likely to spread it to others (who might not have a good outcome from catching it).

      @@R17759 it doesn't matter what they give up. It's what they give up organizationally. He becomes a de facto general manager without even being there. You can't fire your offensive coordinator who's freaking awful because Rogers won't allow it. You can't keep Joe Flacco because Aaron Rodgers probably doesn't want him. All the extra distractions. He's not texting teammates back he's not being a good teammate himself. You can say what you want about Russell Wilson or Deshaun Watson but at least they have been teammates that have been bought in and work really hard. As a Browns fan you can say what you want about Watson but his teammates absolutely love him. Just because you spent less money and less draft capital doesn't mean that it's not just as bad

      @codyb.3015 2 месяца назад +1

      @@TheJohnharple It does matter what they gave up because it's about how much it sets back the franchise in the future. This doesn't. As soon as Aaron leaves, they can clean house and wipe their hands of him, unlike the other notoriously bad trades of the past. Broncos will be paying 40+ million on their cap for next 2 years over Wilson, and the Watson trade could turn out fine if he plays better, but if he plays poorly, they are stuck with him which is what potentially makes it worse than AR trade. Jets WANT to have Rodgers in the building, and the moment they don't, he's gone.
