      @@FilmPunk Thanks Mate! Well, I don't think we need that if we are using Split mode. I would just rather keep it off, than deal with that feedback noise and my client starts asking why it has that weird noise 😆

    Why are there so many different solutions to this problem!? I love these mics but that hum, while not always there, is deadly. I hope this works. Thanks for the info!

      @@FilmPunk I was really hoping you plan would work. It may in many cases. However, my pad (blue triangles) were not turned on. I've written to Rode. This problem is too big for them not to solve. I love the product but the randomness of this issue means I simply can't trust it. Thanks for the suggestion.

    I've been shooting some cooking videos and noticed that i got severe interference/signal loss from the induction cooktops the chef was using when on. Is there any way to shield this with the wireless go 2, also the 6db pad is off on mine i never had that issue. I had a video where it wasn't noticeable with a pan that covered the top of the cooktop but when using a smaller pan that didn't cover the whole burner serious interference.

    Is there any reason why you use 2 recievers at the same time instead of 1, if you are recording alone?

    • @FilmPunk
      @FilmPunk  11 месяцев назад +2

      Two transmitters did you mean? Usually I don't if alone. But for the sake of testing I'd put both on although it doesn't affect it either way.

    getting this exact interference when I strapped the 2nd transmitter to a boom pole with an older Rode boom with 3.5mm connection. (1st transmitter was on lav and no interference) I didnt have pad enabled so Im currently trying to troubleshoot why im getting this exact interference... Too close to LED lights? Im not sure.

    • @KeyIntelMedia

      @@FilmPunk cell phone was in other room so not that but the coiled cable you got me thinking... rode mic is on top boom and cable is coiled down straight to the TX. Not sure how I would rig up the TX any other way but I'll run some whacky tests to see if that cable is acting as an antenna

    • @KeyIntelMedia
      @KeyIntelMedia Год назад

      @@FilmPunk this is a really old Rode videomic with 3.5 connection so I cant do much with the cable. I think Id be better off strapping an H1N to the pole and the video mic. LOL.

    Hi, maybe you could help: I have this terrible clicking sound every time I cut my clip in FCP or create a transition. The audio was recorded with the Rode wireless go 2 mic. I tried to fix that, also with expanding teh audio and using cross fade transitions, as well as with playing around with different exporting formats. It's still there :(((( So disappointed
