  • Prayer changes everything. What if you began to believe that God actually wants to hear from you? In this message, we sit down with our friend Jennie Allen and have a conversation on prayer. We learn and are reminded of the intimacy we get to experience with God when we bring everything to Him through prayer.

One of best speakers and authors out there. I have noticed that the pastor from the house of hope and others like jenny are starting to not push marriage as hard. Somebody had to admit that the culture war against family and mariage won. The west has to start over. With family friendly divorce laws, pro family school curiculums and the few families that are left.

Oof, I’m super mad at God, I know God doesn’t owe me anything but I feel like He does; like I’ve prayed and He doesn’t seem to do anything. I’m super mad 😢

You're right, He doesn't owe us anything, but He gives us everything (He gave us His Son). Our timing is 'cronos' (chronological), God's timing is Kairos. Kairos means "appointed time", or "spiritual opportunity". His timing is perfect. Do not go to Him demanding, go to Him with joy and hope, even if you don't see His hand at work. He is always moving. The appointed time will come and God can turn all things around. God bless you.

Thank you for your honesty I believe God hears your prayers and sometimes answers in ways we dont expect or sometimes dont want

Pray that God gives you what you need and not what you want. I can’t tell you how thankful I am that God didn’t answer my prayers how I thought they should be answered but with what I actually needed.

Vain repetitions are cliches. Preaching doesnt mean to lecture or shame others. Its for outreach. Pastoring is for the flock. Food for thought etc. Positive long pauses help people think and even reflect, but if you use it to guilt trip people, people wont trust you as a speaker or other speakers. A abused dog barks at the rescuer and accuses them of being a enemy too, so the rescuer is patient tactical and helpful with the recovery. Its always the good speakers like jenny who have to put up with suspicious mindsets by victims of guilt trips unfortunately. Constantly interrupting somebody while their speaking makes it unecessarily tense and uncomfortable.

I would have liked to have heard what Gods Word says about prayer not Jennie’s thoughts and opinions. The world is starving for Gods Word not more thoughts and opinions of so called teachers of Gods word.

Pray without ceasing, blessed are those who mourn etc. God likes you and loves you, the presentation of the good news. Practical advice on prayer etc.
