He gets 60 seconds with a multi-millionaire and he spends it like this? If it were up to me, I'd have researched into latest project grant was working on and asked him a few questions on that. "Hey Grant, I did some research and saw that you were doing XXXX and I saw that you were looking for someone to do XXX, is that right?" "Well, since I studied in this field at Baylor, I think may be able to help you with XXXX, would you be interested if we had a quick chat about this for 5 minutes some point tomorrow?"

He was in sales for a start up company that started 15 years ago. He carried that company by his skills with connecting, selling, setting up meetings, ext. He made the company millions a year and only got 2-3%. Now that he's retired, the company is falling apart. Hahaha, I was just some 15 year old kid sitting in the car each morning as he drove me to school talking about the business. We'd talk about issues in his company. When I was 21 the company wanted to hire me as a consultant and part owner. I went into psychology instead, regret that now though. 😂

big facts. i start off most of my interactions by asking someone how their day is. you get way further that way then just jumping into your pitch. converse, be natural, be confident. yes u need to know what your selling in and out but that will come once you get down to needs assessment and objections. let it flow don’t go in for the kill too quick
