What a lovely, calming and gentle morning routine! The only relatable thing I could find in it was the waking time - I find I'm awake most mornings at 5! If I had a Louie to pet it might be different - he is such a darling dog. And how gorgeously green is your neighbourhood! This is serving as a reminder that I need to slow down and not rush to the PC first thing. Have a lovely Sunday dearest friend ❤❤❤

Hi Tina, what a nice routine with your sweet Louie. I am 95% empty nest with my youngest just completing a Fulbright in Europe (proud mama) then being here a few weeks until his "real" job in NYC. My daughter lives there too so that gives me comfort. Thank you for sharing your day.

I loved spending the morning with you. What a pleasant, soothing routine. But wow! You wake up early!!! I'm a night owl. I'm generally up by 7 though. And how funny to see my face on your TV! Lol.

It's funny. It doesn't seem to matter when I go to bed now. I will still be up around 5am. But I have grown to love the mornings. So quiet and peaceful.

Your morning looks relaxing. My dog likes to get up early to eat and then go back to sleep for a while. He waits at my feet while I get ready for his first walk. He loves going for a walk. He sheds a lot.

Hey Tina! It was nice to see how your mornings are. It has taken me awhile to get in a routine since my boys are grown now. I have gotten up at 5AM for over 20 years. My husband gets up early for work and so I have always gotten up
With him and drink my first cup of coffee with him before he leaves for work. I usually have my second cup a little while after he leaves. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Gloria! Very different when the boys are gone, right?? I still remember those hectic mornings and sometimes even miss those days... But I will say that I have become such a morning person. I love the quiet and always seem to get more accomplished early on.

I enjoyed your video. I like how you try and do things to better yourself daily. I try to do that also. I need to get better at using a journal because I found the emotional part of all the changes that take place around mid 50's is heavy! Have a great day!!!

One of the *benefits* of being an empty nester is the peace and quiet of mornings (but I sometimes miss the craziness of getting Wyatt ready for school 😢)
My morning consists of a dog walk first thing (about 2 miles) so I don't wear sunscreen at 6:00-6:30am to get that vitamin D and light in my eyes. Then feeding the dogs, doing my mobility exercises while listening to a Bible in a Year podcast (I'm the queen of multi-tasking) then coffee, red light (while listening to either a podcast...I love Mel Robbins too, or a book), and finally my ZIIP Halo. Then it's time for work!
I also prefer to wear corded ear buds while listening to music, books, or podcasts while walking. And YES! It's so important to do balance work which is part of the mobility exercises I do in the morning. What a peaceful morning video from you Tina Have a sweet week! I can't believe it's June!

@@tinasbestmidlife I got home yesterday from my work conference and, while it was a great conference and so good to see colleagues, I am HAPPY to be home! You had asked last week what devices I took: my ZIIP Halo and my Maysama little red-light/micro-current device. I only used the ZIIP while there as it's quick and I didn't have a lot of spare time. And of course that double-duty Gleanser was fantastic for both cleansing AND as my ZIIP gel. I just decanted it into a smaller bottle. Brilliant idea to use it as a microcurrent gel Tina!
Hi Tina! Happy Sunday, looks like a nice relaxing start to your day. We were on the road today so listened to you in the car! We went back to my hometown where my husband still is till he retires in October, packed up some more things to bring back to ND where I currently live with my son till we purchase a house. Donuts were a success last weekend and our schedule is sure filling up for the summer and all the events! Have a good week friend🥰

I'm tripping over 2 kitties who think that they're starving, while my Simon kitty, takes over my space in bed. The lazy one!
The cats shed like crazy as well.
You are so impressive. I don't think I could walk with a 16lb weighted vest.
Balance exercises are so important as we get older.

Except for my teen years, I've always been an early riser. My dad was the same way! I enjoy the stillness of the morning.
Unfortunately, my Henry days are coming to an end. He'll be going to preschool camp 5 full days. It's breaking my heart, but there's nothing that I can do. I'm more than willing to continue, but my daughter's husband wants him in full time. A story for another time. Big hugs. Have fun today. ❤❤@tinasbestmidlife

I volunteer at a resale store in the furniture department. The store is staffed by all volunteers and the proceeds go to help families in need in the area. It has honestly been on of the best things I have ever done! I get to volunteer with wonderful people and I am also helping people that need a little extra help - win, win!
