The only singer(s) I have seen that they don't end the show before their swan song was over. We got to see the WHOLE THING. My personal theory as to why they didn't win is because they have tour commitments and this was the plan all along. I know it doesn't fit the reality TV thing, but I think when PTX said they would do the show, Masked Singer said they would take any arrangement they needed. Of course, I have been a Pentaholic since E.T. (IYKYK)
my theory is its because they didn't have a sad sob story of depression and bullying like the other two in the top three. but its ok they had fun and it was more important for one of the others to win i guess.
They should have won but they didnt have the sad story that the Masked singer wants for its champion. The two finalist both had sad stories but they were mediocre at best.
While of coarse they were the best, and as a pentaholic we are rightly prejudiced, but looking back it think it was thekelly clarkson song choice that lost it for them. and medusa and the macaw were terrific. it wasn't like they lost to some dud. but i have a feeling they made many new fans, and they obviously had fun.
@@steveknutson5617 medussa and macraw were mediocre. I dont think terrific when I hear them. Good but doesnt stand out. That song was done well and shouldnt have stopped them. If you look at the last few winners they all seem to have some sad story about their lives. Almost all of these realty shows are scripted. They cannot afford a mess up. I feel this was one of those moments. Sorry, no doubt I favor PTX even before they sing, but after all this, favorite or not, they should have won. I believe it was determined before they sand.

And while I didn’t enjoy Medusa as much as some did on the show, I do think I should give bishop Briggs a chance with her own music. But… Pentatonix was definitely the better of the 3. Yes I have a lot of bias, but I also think it’s just a fact.
@@scottboyd9383 I pretty much agree with you. i am wondering if they may not have been able to be at the finale as they were in europe during and long before the final show. I wonder also if there is even a real audience. if so it seems the results would leak out to the public by someone in the audience. the only time that seemed to happen was when gulliani was unmasked and robin and ken walked off in protest, perhaps that was purposely leaked to create buzz. anyway I say kudos to the people that make the costumes, not only for the contestants but the dancers and judges. they must have a lot of people working long hours.

They missed a trick by not bringing Avi back to make six... that would of messed with peoples heads 🤣😂
