I was so stoked when I found out at work that we get a playable Zelda in a mainline game. I’ve been enjoying the absolute glee of everyone’s reaction vids today from the Zeldatubers. ❤
Recording was definitely worth it!
For the very first time in a mainline game, you get to play as the girl whose franchise bears her name. I know my younger sister-in-law will be excited for this one for sure.
I just thought of this, but I think the chances are high that the game will have a home design element… like you’ll be able to furnish your home with objects you “echo” in your journey through the game.

it says wisdom in the tittle and we all know Zelda is the one associated with the wisdom triforce piece. Makes sense that we get to play as princess Zelda for a change. Nice switch up.
Now we fully understand. Link's Awakening remake for Switch was a test run for this game. WOW.

looks like they grabbed the dungeon maker system from Link's Awakening and just applied it to the overworld as Zelda's gimmick, that's interesting. Also the "traditional Zelda" purist fanboys are going to be so mad about this I can't wait hahaha
Im a "traditional Zelda" purist fanboy for sure but im not really disappointed here. I do want some dungeons with cool puzzles though. That could make or break it for me.
@Tenany1987 if you're not mad about it then you're not a purist fanboy you just have a preference. I'm talking about the people who are frothing at the mouth that a filthy girl is the protagonist and that the game play isn't "hit with sword three times"
@@offthewall2017 actually I was quite mad about it since it didn’t go back to a more classic style. I just can’t hold hate for a long time anymore lol. The worlds changing and I can’t think it will stay the same for me

It looks like there are using the same item menu that was in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom for the Echoes.

I actually thought it was an A Link to the Past remake, and this genuinely surprised me!! I really loved the art style of Link’s Awakening and I’m glad they’re bringing it back!! I’m glad you decided to record your reaction, idk why bat watching your reaction made me so happy for some reason lol

Your facial expression in the thumbnail is probably how I looked too. I couldn't believe my eyes first because I'm making a Zelda-like indie game with a magic wand and no weapons, with one of the magic powers being duplicating objects 😀. I got a first gameplay trailer on my youtube channel.
FYI, the Switch Lite is worth getting simply for the proper D-Pad, if you don’t have one already! I suppose it’d be prudent to wait for the Switch 2 reveal, but the gold Switch looks pretty neat, too 🤷🏻♂️
Your child going be born in a world where Zelda is a main in her game. Your child will never know a time when Zelda was the Princess in distress.
The series has always had puzzles so its so cool to see an entire 'play-style' surrounding this kinda idea - plus I mean who better to utilize such a play-style other than the wisdom girl herself.
I'm so curious for the theorists to talk about what would happen if Link or Ganon had the Tri Rod
