17:30 Sam, the math is simple but reality is much more complex. Traumata can influence your organ function therefor your body doesn’t use the nutrients as efficient. Calories don’t go to where they should go and it is both ways, if you are to thin you won’t gain weight and if you are to big you won’t lose wait. Stress is a huge factor and I never heard you touch on that. Considers todays era of depressed people, how much stress and trauma they go through, this is hindering them to gain or lose weight! I got cancer when I was 10 and I’m left with an irremovable tumor near my neck bro. My body has to heal and recover slowly. Trauma and stress and it’s influenced is a matter that gets talks about to rarely. Try to do some research on that and touch on that next time. I am sure a lot of the viewers will appreciate it.

Sam I have to say after all the years of going to really awesome gyms I wound up at planet fitness too… but it’s mostly because of financial problems right now and I have no beef working out there and when I joined I had a lot of injuries from free weights so it was actually a good place to rehab everything the only thing is I was just going to go there for a minute and then get back into a gym but my brother you never know what tomorrow brings
My problem with my diet is that firstly, I don't make a big enough effort to eat good meals and make time to actually eat a lot. And secondly which has really been holding me back is that I am finding it super difficult to physically eat as many calories as I am supposed to with my size. I'm 5'10 220, have a large frame and genetically have probably more muscle by default than the average guy. I do have a good amount of body fat (no idea what %) but I am slowly slimming down while slowly putting on more muscle mass at the same time so I assume I am eating about my maintenance calories for the day usually. But that is strange to me because I think I am usually eating between 2300 to 2800 calories a day but according to calorie calculators I should be having about 2900 to 3100 to maintain. This leads me to believe that I could have a pretty slow metabolism considering smaller amounts of food seem too feed me more. This could also explain why I find it hard to have a big (or any) breakfast for that matter and why I feel super full for a long time after I have a meal. Does anyone have any tips for how I can overcome this? Or how I could figure out my own personal caloric needs? I'd love to be able to eat more but even if I made more time to eat more I feel like I just can't get the food down before I eat myself into exhaustion and feeling bloated and sick.
