I have a Kawasaki concors 1000 and im having a problem with the vacuum line and fuel lines could someone please send me a picture or diagram of the right way they are suppose to be??? HELP ME PLEASE
Hi just fixed up my bike that has this valve and noticed that after running the overflow lines leak a lot of gas. Is there a way that the valve can be put "off" at all?
Unfortunately, this fuel petcock does not have an "off" position. It is a vacuum actuated design, so the fuel will not flow (in the "on" position) without the engine running. Fuel will run freely in the "prime" or "reserve" position though. It could be that the diaphragm in the petcock is bad, or you have a float or float valve stuck in your carburetor(s).
Very good explanation..thanks..
Thank you. My pleasure.
