Not gonna lie brother, you're easily one of the best guys on RUclips reacting to nrl, union, afl. Top notch content dude, keep it up, it's great seeing Americans appreciate international sports 🙂
This was only a list of Rugby Union players League players are much slower. Addo Carr runs a 10.75, and he is up there for the fastest of all time in rugby league
I swear No 2 Chavanga is the fastest in history, he burnt No 9, and No 10 10.70 runners so bad they looked like they were standing still in some highlights, its a pity theres not much highlights on the guy, he moved faster than any man I've seen against the Blues in 2006. No 3 Rupeni , he was 230 pounds in these highlights, he could have been Bo Jackson but he liked eating and rugby was just a game to him , not a way of life.
If id rate speed and quality on the field. 1. Rokocoko 2. Habana 3. Howlett 4. Rupeni Caucauinbuca 5. Chavanga The rest are mostly rugby 7s guys who didn't do as well in 15s but carved 7s
No 3....Caucaunibuca......Regarded the best winger in rugby of all time....React to him bruv........He is Fijian......Went from amateur village boy rugger....to professional rugby player within 1 - 2 years......
@@neilhunter8262 naahhh....prolly bout 4 years later.....But yep....It was a shame that he didnt try to optimise the opportunities given.....But his abilities on the field were second to none.....
People never remember the Japan winger Daisuke Ohata, Think it was before Japan was such a big name in rugby. But people could not catch him. Specially in sevens.
Bro can you watch shaun johnson "touch" highlights it's when he's a teenager and it's a game of touch sortve similar to rugby league easiest way to explain it but no tackles and no kicks it's a super skilful game and shaun johnson vid is crazy for any reactor
Going back a long way, Michael Cleary would probably get into that list. Commonwealth Games medal winner in the 100yds Dash in 1962. Fastest ever, though he hardly had a rugby career just a short trial, would be Dwain Chambers after he was banned from athletics for a failed drug test. He had a trial with Castleford Tigers, there's footage of it I think on RUclips, and he was a world indoor champion over 60m and a medal winner over 100m outdoors several times - 9.87s PB for 100m.
I think Rugby has to change how they register a players speed. It’s kind of useless counting 100m speed time if you don’t also have a paired time for 100m with ball in hand. You can be faster on the 100m but doesn’t mean you’re also faster with ball in hand. It’d be better context to include both times.
6:10 I see your theme, though I'm not sure how I feel about the sprinters running the ball like that. Rugby's supposed to be about the close hard hitting action, they may as well be playing American football.
During a game a.lot of factors come in to play than a straight 100m dash you could have had a knock or a niggle or start on the back foot or have to turn form a defensive position. They didn't start running side by side. I've seen senatla burn Ilse and Parry and vice versa as well.
@@ernienicholas1812 depends on the situation generally the better player will if he has comparable speed similar position for example a front rower vs a winger is a clear mismatch lol the better player however will have read the situation better and positioned themselves better but a lot of things need to be factored the point is during the game its rarely ever just a clear foot race. My point is that it's not as black and white as the better player or faster player wins each time. Cheslin kobe isn't the fastest but I'd put money on him to score against any of these guys on a one on one situation.
@@rugbywatchesgaming4048 mate, you're clocking the better player. is it about faster or better? no ones saying kolbe won't score in a one on one situation, if i were to mention one on one, i'd mention the great lomu. but is he the fastest?
When someone says Rugby it’s automatically referring to Rugby Union, If it’s Rugby League they’ll either say Nrl, Rugby League, or Just League.. Super league if you’re from the Uk

Grappling jujitsu in rucks.... And So On 👍

I believe I can fly 😂
Three of these guys are American. Isles, Baker and Ngwenya.
Ngwenya played for the United States but was from Zimbabwe, and lived mostly in France after that.
@Henri Panapa Only known ? Maybe if you have absolutely no interest for european rugby.
@@vermeervanbremen3306 yes he was only known for burning habana, that's what put him on the stages, and that's what he'll be remembered for
All union players, no league/NRL so no Addo-car/Johnson

dude if you really wanna see speed , danie gerber and jaco reinach . faster then most of these guys . they are both on youtube
Can you do Justin Olam, Human Brick 2020
R. Kelly has nothing on you brother 😂

@Kairarawa Demon sure, I guess in the same way that building a rocket is about burning fuel
React to Rokocoko highlights pls
Ngwenya literally runs around Habana.
How is Habana above him?
This. Ngwenya has burnt Habana multiple times, I'm pretty sure they've clocked Ngwenya as faster than Habana as well

@@rugbywatchesgaming4048 so the better player wins the race or the fastest?

Jonah Lomu.
React to bryan habana
Sheer finesse
Most of them are black🤷🤗
I thought lomu was sub 10 but maybe I'm wrong on that
That sub 10 rumor was world wide...
Yeah he is 10.8/10.7
This is only rugby union not rugby league, that's why there is none that you were looking for
Unfortunately, JUST being fast doesn't make you a great rugby player.
Yh look at LR zammit he’s quick but sometimes that’s causes issues on reciving the ball and passing it
@@higgsyboi1237 yeah but he's still young, he will either become world class or he'll prove to be another hype train
Jonah Lomu ran 100m in 10.3 seconds or something like that at 120kg. Idk why he wasn't on the list?
Because he ran a 10.80 , easy to google his time, takes 2 seconds
Henri Panapa most say 10.80 some say 10.70 in high school, enlighten me oh wise one.
So he ran a 10.7 in high school only to get slower with more intensified training joining the all blacks? lol. Sounds about right.
LAA SHAAY he put on 20 pounds between 17-19, you dont think adding that much extra weight wouldnt slow you down?

there was faster players back in the 80s and 90s
