Great vlog this week Team AMD! Camera work and some of the shots and soundtrack combos were particularly sweet! That Ibrid though, need it in my life!!
+Techsupp Mobile drop us an email techsuop we have long necks in stock. Thanks for the comments we love trying to mix it up then hearing what people do and don't like 😎👍🔔
Great job Alan and team, been looking forward to this one. I certainly hope I don't need any body-shop work on my car if that's how they send them out - what a mess. As soon as I start my annual leave for the summer, I will practice using my Rupes polisher on my wife's 1 series. It's better to use her car as the guinea pig before starting on the Mustang. I noticed some boxes with Meguiars on them, do you use any of their products?
Really enjoyed this vlog... Superb..Shows what can be done to take paint to very highest level. Top work a lot of hours by the look of it. How long after paint job was done did AM carry out polishing work .. 👍👌
I'll be sure to tell Mr Claus he can use his card and hope he'd got a long interest free period haha. Definitely something to consider, been told several times over the Rupes machines are next level.
I noticed in a couple of the videos after foaming the car, you rinse from bottom panels to top. Wondering if there is any reason for this technique rather than the conventional top to bottom?
You got me scared now.. My brand new grabber Blue GT is at the dealers having a new door fitted as it was dented at delivery. I hope they do a better job of the paint than you had there?? I have a small rechargeable led light panel. Will that show up the swirls and DA tails you show here?
Hi Nige, The biggest worry for me would be the underseal job that the Mustangs have. It gets everywhere from inside alloys/paintwork and all the underside of the exhaust. See Vlog here - ruclips.net/video/tU-e-k4vDpo/видео.html The paintwork all depends on the painter. Remember this is a good job considering the damage the car had and some panels replaced. The Mustang has some fascinating lines.. as much as we point out a lot of DA sanding marks, they are all in hard to reach areas. A painter is not a finisher. Apart from 1 little door nib and some masking in areas that can't really be seen the job would quickly pass Fords standards, i would have thought. Garage standards are not set at the level that customers pay us for. I hope that makes sense. The over spray from the underseal is a night mare to remove, and if you look in the previous grabber blue vlog, you will see it required nail varnish remover. Drop me a message once you have the door back and we can try to pass you some tips. Many Thanks Alan

Great vlog, Nice to see the buffershop...sorry bodyshop keeping you guys busy! Rename this colour Buffer Blue!
cant believe any bodyshop would release a car in that state -- i'd be insisting they do a better job, and complain to the insurance company.

I see that some auto body shops in the UK buff out cars just as bad as they do in the US!
"The DA isn't cutting it".
Nice Dad joke!
