    Introducing the all-new LINE Blade Optic Skis Collection. Born from LINE's history of pushing freeride skiing in a new direction, the Blade Optic Collection breaks the mold of traditional metal-laminate ski design, pulling notes from two award-winning LINE Skis, the LINE Vision and the LINE Blade. Fusing the intuitive freeride capabilities of the Vision's chassis, with the technology and power found in the Blade's Gas Pedal Metal™ construction, the Blade Optic Collection was engineered to charge like a freeride ski and play like a freestyle ski. Set your sights down the mountain, kick it into overdrive, and experience freeride through a new lens on the Blade Optic Collection.

    Please do a comparison with the Blizzard Rustler. These are too similar.

      So I ski the Rustler 10 on a daily basis and got to demo the 96 version of this ski last spring. I can tell you that it is definitely more playful than the Rustler. The one thing that I was blown away by was how well it held an edge. I come from a race background so even with my playful skis, I want them to be able to hold an edge and rail some nice arcs. This ski does this exceptionally well. I would probably say that it is the best, most versatile freeride ski on the market. Unfortunately, I didn't get to ski the 104 but I can only imagine how good it would be. Overall, the Rustler is maybe a tad beefier but the Blade Optic is a bit more playful without sacrificing carving ability.

    Hi LINE! Im looking for a substitute for my Old Bacons and Mordecai.
    What makes me doubt about this ski is the recommended mount point. Super back from the center. Can this ski be mounted more centered? Such as -3 or -4 from true center?
    Where does the team mount em for those switch landings?

      I'm going to make the Blade Optic 92 my dedicated park ski... Should I mount it +4.5 cm from recommended line?

    Can you make a Line Blade optic with ~85 width and full metal? That would be sick! :)))

    Whats the recommended detune for the blade optic 96 in the park? Want to be able to keep the edge for hardpack though.

    Is the 96 a viable option if I’m skiing free ride and piste like 80% of the time but park the other 20%

    I have the vision 98 and I am a big guy about 6ft4 and 230 lbs and 50 years old and I feel like the vision get a little scary if I go fast but I really am not a great skier and can get down a hill but I don’t do tricks or go fast. I am looking for a ski I can use in new snow and that will help me get to be a better skier. I usually go to Kirkwood or Sugar bowl or skin from Red Lake area. Do you think the optic is good for me?

    • @lineskis
      @lineskis  Год назад

      Hey Jeff! Yeah, with your height, the Vision 98 might get a little chatter at high speeds. The Blade Optic 96 or 104 would be more stable and easier to control at high speeds, thanks to the metal in the ski. If you're looking for a ski for new snow, then I would check out the Optic 104, as that extra width will help you get through any deeper snow or crud. Hope that helps!

      The 96 would be a good choice! 177cm if you are an advanced/expert skier, otherwise the 170cm option would be a good option.
