Been loving this deck, I've been wondering if the new Exeggcute could fit into a deck of another color considering its ability to give itself its necessary grass energy for psychic
Just FYI from my experience playing with serperior, you don’t have to fill both energy slots when retreating. When I would retreat serperior, if I had 2 energy slots when retreating I would just fill one and press ok and it allowed me to retreat without using an extra energy. But I guess if you put 2 energies in it uses both of them. At least that how it was working when I was running the Celebi deck, not sure if they changed it.

I have a deck idea that I think would make for a fun video! Poke flute with Victreebel (and maybe another pokemon that can snipe the bench) the goal being to eliminate the opponent's benched pokemon, bring it back with poke flute and then have Victreebel bring it to the active spot. Rinse and repeat
16:36 when you used X-speed here you actually could have retreated for 1 energy, since Serperior's double energy does count energy for retreating as well, I don't think you knew but thought I'd let you know (this also means Serperior can retreat for only using up 1 of it's energies)
Would love to see you upgrade the grass deck I’ve been trying out. 2 bulbasaur, 2 ivy, 2 venu. 1 snivy/superior line, 2 caterpies. 2 Erika 1 potion and the usual stuff. Venusaur is my favorite so I’m trying new stuff with him. (Was doing venu/weeze) before. Superior makes this feel better because you can swap around easier once he’s online with minimal energy cost.
Celebi can destoy Venusaur so much easier with 3 turns to power is + the serp line while at it. Venusaur has max 150 hp damage but Celebi with double 3 or 4 energies can do 200-350hp damage depending how luck you are.
I run this deck but swapped Exeggutor Ex for Dhelmise and have had much more success. For the new event i think my record went 25-5, this deck can really turn the tables quick!
@@realsliva But the cost of 2 points running that EX isn't worth it IMO. I have more luck getting the two energy on Dhelmise vs hitting for 80 with Eggy.
Around 17:00 - 18:00 you didn’t need to spend two energy to retreat. I’m not sure why it pulls up the thing for you to select the energy. But you could’ve selected 1 energy and then retreated. It’s weird and not obvious
Today before this video I was doing this deck! hahahaha (but a little diferrent). So I don’t have 2 Erikas so that’s bad (I just have 1), so I put a Giovanni instead in case I found a Golem (exceggutor plus weakness plus Giovanni 1 hits Golem) but I run the same deck except for instead of 2 new exxegutors, just 1 and 1 ex, then I put 2 Dhelmise, and go without potion (maybe I will change 1 Dhelmise with a potion, it would be a better idea I think). But great video, I’m loving your content and how you explain how the deck works, keep the good work 👍
I've been waiting for this one bro 😂 been running this sence the new set came out so good to counter celebi and I always have it in my back line to one tap MewTwo or any other heavy hitters
Nice Deck! I would swap out the one potion for a gio maybe. You had some situations where the +10 dmg could have helped a lot and with two erikas, you already have very good healing.

I was running this deck for the 45 win challenge without the exeggutor EX and the problem with it is that you either don’t draw into serperior or don’t draw into exeggutor. It’s rlly hard to get 4 energy onto exeggutor without serperior assisting. Especially since exegcute only has 50 health. It’s not tanking anything. Idk this whole deck felt really inconsistent when I was playing it on my own. There’s also things like starmie which will live with 10hp from an exeggutor attack which is kinda annoying but playing around it is kinda fun.
I just had a mirror match deck with Gyarados ex. My 2 x Copies of Gary were the last 2 cards in my deck. I stalled for so long with both my Drudd's, but they eventually got me. I had a Pokeball I used just to reshuffle (no cards left to draw with it)( and this put them both on the bottom :D The worst luck in a game for me so far. The thing is I landed both my Misty's (for 2 energy, each time) both my Magicarp were on the bench with 4 energy each, and I just couldn't draw the big guy.
nice i cooked up this deck before an actual good player did lol. seriously tho that pyschic became my win condition on celebi half of the time so i went all in on the egg. such a good deck.

One question, would it be worth replacing the potion or an x speed with a Giovanni so that Exegutor can 1 shot a 3 energy Mewtwo? I may have the math wrong, but (80+ 3x20 + 10) should oneshot a 150Hp MewtwoEX no?
Try this deck i made its unique and powerful. Its water fire. DECK LIST: 2x Druddigon 2x Sizzlipede 2x Centiskorch 2x Magikarp 2x Gyarados EX 1x Articuno EX 1x Moltres EX 2x Pokeball 2x Professors Research 2x Misty 2x Leaf Offers multiple turn 1 openings which determine what you will focus on. Dual type might seem difficult with water fire but Moltres and 2 Misty covers ramp and bad energy turns (which are surprisingly rare). Druddigon allows use of both energy and a stall and ability allows ez Mewtwo & arcanine revenge kills. Biggest issue is Sabrina if youve already used both leaf or dont draw one
I don't understand people who run Moltres in the Blaine deck. Blaine wants to deal damage as fast as possible, every turn matters. If you stop attacking even just for one turn you might lose the game (don't forget your mons are very frail for most late game attacks). Meanwhile Moltres is used to stall and ramp into a big finisher. This is ok when you are dealing 200 but Blaine caps at 120. That's not even enough to one-shot mew2.
What’s up with these players talking about banning cards…? First off, it’s a live service game so cards would get adjusted if anything at all, and secondly , it will rarely happen because of their testing and devs. This game is closer to other online card battlers than it is to any other Pokémon game.
1 executor and 2 executor ex did well for me. If I need to Ex, great. but if I still have that option to slap the Celebi as long as I keep 1 energy on a benched Egg. Celebi takes a KO and the Egg gets evolved and SURPRISE, gg thanks for hoarding energies
Celebi is not top-tier. Look at recent tournament results. It has horrible percentages. Even Mewtwo EX is getting destroyed more and more as we move more into this release. Dark has been stepping it up. Gyarados has been stepping it up. And now fighting has been putting up numbers due to countering Gyarados.

Celebi is actually a Btier deck right now. It can be easily countered. It just has an insane gimmick that's all
I used the aerodactyl EX deck that had the geodude line in it to beat celebii it was pretty risky though but once you get golem fully loaded easy win
Not really a gimmick, just utilised very poorly. Dumping all your energy on a single Celebi thinking you'll just one shot everything is not the way.

I'm sure you've found this out but setting up 2 stage 2 pokemon just isn't gonna work for you in this format

if you are lucky you can do 80dmg second turn with exeggutor ex. you need much longer to get 4 energies on dhelmise or getting serperior😊

My only problem with this is Exeggcute is too fragile able to be one shot by most stage 1 and some basic pokemon
Mythical island meta is so good. Various decks won the tournaments. It's still changing and evolving.

Incorporated this in Celebi dex. Helps in matchups against Gyarados Ex, Charizard Ex etc.

It's very interesting that it also counts the double energy for your opponent if the Surperior is on the field
It also works well on late game Charizard EX mostly as a revenge killer, get Charizard below 150 and Exeggutor slays

It'll be rare that the opponent is stuck with just 3 energy, however I don't see a problem as there is already 2 Erika so the potion is kinda useless
Been using almost the exact same deck except I use sabrina for that potion. It's good
