    I have lived in Shenzhen for 6 months, have only learned Chinese organically. This week however, I been studying very hard, more then 5 hours per day. I watched you and this video for the first time, and I was excited because I actually understood like 20% of that first clip, and that's a first for me. Then the way you broke it down after, then I re watched it and WOW! Your video has given me a lot of confidence in myself. thank you!

    I just purchased your course on "how to speak like a native " on Udemy. It is very useful and easy to follow. You also have a great way of explaining the method of learning to be more fluent in Chinese .It is a pleasure to learn from such a beautiful person as well. Thank you for your great work.

    Thanks for the new vid. I appreciate your teaching style, where you speak phrases numerous times, fast (but not too fast) and then slow, include the pinyin, and also include context showing an interaction using the phrases and then breaking it down. It also helps that you have a good grasp of English with a good American accent.
    I'm going to China in a week. While there is no way I will be able to have an extensive conversation, your vids are helping me at least learn some phrases.

    why at 8:00 do we say how many bowls we want before saying which kind of food? "也点两碗米饭吧“
    but then at 10:56 we say which food before saying how many bowls... "米饭两碗”
    does it matter which order it is in?

    I think your Chinese tutorials are the only good on RUclips. The others are just really bad. I'm happy that there's people that put effort in what they're doing. I'm a huge fan.

    Hello, I have a question about the usage of de (的) in a sentence,
    for example in the sentence 我妈妈是好人。 我的 is not used. Similarly I often see this not used before the subject of people, like family members . However, when it's about a thing, like a table for example 我的桌子很漂亮。 我的 is then used. So I'd like to ask whether I got this right and therefore also whether alternatives such as
    我的妈妈是好人。or 我桌子很漂亮。or 我的桌子是很漂亮。would be grammatically incorrect in Chinese. In case of the last alternative, I rather wonder whether the usage of "shi" is correct.
    Thank you to anyone who responds, for your time and patience with me. Have a nice day.

    • @learnchinesewithmichelle9495
      @learnchinesewithmichelle9495  7 лет назад

      Thank you for your question, de is often ommited in colloquial chinese just easier to pronounce, no specific purpose, in order to be grammatically right, i suggest you to use de everytime.

    • @Bai_Su_Zhen
      @Bai_Su_Zhen 7 лет назад

      Okay, that's much simpler than I thought, is it similar with the usage of word shi (是) in the middle of a sentence, like in the last example 我的桌子是很漂亮。 where I could've just left it out?... 我的桌子很漂亮 。
      Thank you so much once again for your answers. Your videos are super awesome to learn from.
