Normally: "Guys you have wiped 3 times, we are going to call it for tonight." Now: "Blizzard gave us a 100 wipe per boss cap or we can't get cosmetics! Why are they persecuting us!?"
This is literally just impacting bonus loot. It has no correlation to the loot that drops from the bosses already. Not sure why people are complaining, all this is doing is giving you an “opportunity” to get loot faster which by doing something “challenging”. If you don’t want to do that then don’t do It. You still get the same loot just at a slower pace.
kinda stupid the extra loot could also appear for an extra ultra hardcoreboss that only the good ones can kill its true its always fun to do a boss multiple trys and and if you get the kill you get your reward. to depend on others was never a good feeling same like naxxramas immortal title... useless boring title that dont give me any emotion just because i have to hope noone fucks up. also there are hardware or internet/server problems that could fk something up. overall its just useless sht design and they think they could argue with nonsense reasons. algalon in ulduar was a cool boss but the 1hour timer was never nice also because the raid was already big and much to do and not to much time left to try single bosses for high amount of times. so why the counter?
@@ronodon18 I agree with you that this difficulty version is the worst one of all the raids so far. The best has been BWL. That being said, going into the next raid tier, I have always had my gear 2-3 weeks before the raid tier releases (in some causes both MS and OS gear). Thus, Im not worried about getting extra loot because more than likely I will have the gear I need before Naxx comes out. Granted, I am only speaking in terms of tier cause its guaranteed. Cant do anything about special items like DFT/Tear/Rejuv Gem. But at least it gives incentive to go run those raids again.
Problem is classic players dont want any reward impact on skill comparison.. Even if you call "this phase you'll have basic loots, + extra loots cause its sod, AND if you're even better and manage to do hardcore mechanic you'll have MORE extra loots", Classic handies will cry cause they don't want to be ineligible for reward, they want to make the bare minimum effort needed and want to deserve the same as everyone... And its angering me to hear that kind of speech, if blizzard adds reward for difficulties, consider these rewards wouldnt even be a thing if the difficulty wasnt added. SO what's the idea ? prevent better people to get more reward ? sounds like jealousy to me. And by the way, having people be mad over someone failing a mechanic again and again isn't a bad thing, its a way to make the dude realize he needs to focus and improve. Making this having an impact on amount of rewards is a good way to point out that people who fail costs you something and deserves less, I've seen too many bad players fail and have the same rights to loot as everyone in classic.
@@norfirian9100 I think Blizzard is trying to see which variation of "difficulty" is best liked among the SoD audience. Once the identify this, more than likely, this difficulty will be transferred over to Classic +. The thing is that Private Servers audiences that transitioned over to Era took over Era after TBC. They infected Era player base to believe the only way to clear content is by having Full WB/dps consumables which was a symptom of the "Speed Clearing Meta" which is difficulty created by the Private Server community that was brought to Classic Era. @@norfirian9100 yeah and its stupid if one person fails and punishes all others i could live with a "counting got hit" mechanic that gives individuell players there extra loot (or not) if they play well and didnt get hit from any outplayable mechanic. otherwise it just sucks. prestige items would be cool but only if they are something worth. ultra hard grind or ultra hard to solve. most of the time both doesnt fit this and the "prestige" is not a prestige.
I really enjoyed the difficulty systems so far. H3 was interesting and I don't mind the vanilla feel of having resistance sets. Just so long as we don't need 5 of them. However, I do not enjoy being forced by Blizzard to force my guildies to still do H3 every week in p5 and probably some of p6 too because 8% drop rate on bindings isn't cashing out for me, so the extra drop chance from the Core boss feels like mandatory farm.
