USS Sherman has only 3 guns but they can dish out so much pain in relatively short time, it is insane.
Enjoy and have fun watching ;)

These ships were pure post WW2 fleet escort destroyers built purely for anti aircraft and anti sub work.
The fixed torp launchers were for the Mark 35 torpedo and were later replaced with two triple 12.75 inches torpedo launchers.
They were sub killers, yes. WG tossed the ship into its "screw history" machine and came out with this. lol
The dedicated fleet escorts were the Mitscher class DLs, hence the greater AAW capability in the form of the 3"/70s, and SPS-8 radar for fighter direction, and the pair of Weapon Alphas, for better ASW.
The Forest Shermans were designed for more general-purpose destroyer tasks, and to be more easily mass-produced, they were essentially viewed as a new Fletcher. The fixed Mk 25 tubes could also fire Mk 16 torpedoes, the ships as designed also had dropping gear for lightweight torpedoes. ASW capability were very limited, they had a pair of fixed Hedgehog launchers at a time when new build ships and some ASW conversions were recieiving Weapon Alpha, and even the nost austere ASW conversions were supposed to receive trainable Hedgehog launchers.
But, like all of the game warships in WoWS, the "SHERMAN's" were inferior to the Glorius Soviet Navy Ships shooting Stalinium-capped shells!!
@@ElectroAtletico The problem is that Soviet designs have features that play well (higher velocity guns, armour protection even for destroyer sized ships) in World of Warships, whereas the various soft factors that would negatively affect their performance in real life aren't present (i.e. worse sensors, high muzzle velocity leading to high barrel wear, poor endurance, poor crew quarters etc).
@@forcea1454sucks they did not implement the proper deck penetration of american slow shells.
Flambass is the official Janitor of WoWS, he disposes of the trash.
Nice to see a random game not end in 6 minutes.
Very well said
each style of playing a ship requires a different captain build tailor your build to your play style
So many ships; so little time... 😅
wish this ship had a bit more speed
A fun ship, though I much prefer the Hayate.
Is it useful using HE in the Sherman to set a fire then switch to SAP? Or just SAP all the way?
It depends really, but to me it seems you mostly lose a bunch of damage while not using SAP, and then on top of that RNG might not get you a fire and even if it does enemy can DCP it, so I mostly just stick to SAP
dakka dakka dakka!
F. Sherman torps still need to be changed to her homing torps.
Not first... 96th.
Flambass you are using your priority sector incorrectly.
It has Zero effect for flak guns and the bonus 5% insta-damage is negated if the aircraft aren't in range of the effected AA guns when the button is pressed.
Worse still is that priority sector stacks with the AA consumable action so not only are you missing out on the 5% bonus but in reality, it's 15% insta-damage that you aren't taking advantage of.
Don't press priority sector until your non-flak AA guns are in range. Look it up!
I take my AA game seriously and I always win in my preferred DD... Not Halland.

Nice MM. lol I can’t ever get a game like this in a DD. I’m never on a team with more radars. Nice to be a streamer.
MM has nothing to do with winning. Change the way you are playing. The person playing the ship is what controls the outcome, not MM!
streamers play for multiple hours per day , they choose a good game from those multiple games for you tube . they will have just as many games against radars and carriers as you . the difference is just like any sport ar anything really someone who is very good and very experienced at what they do can recognise others making mistakes and understand how to punish that . its like dds that go into a cap without looking at mini map to see they have zero cover , die and moan at the rest of the team because they have no cover . if your team only has 1 radar then as a dd where possible you should go to the cap he is closest too and the enemy is weakest at if you want to play aggressive , if thats not possible your job is to spot and be kind of passive to slow the other team down . if you have played enough you should be aware where the radar ships want to be so whats your safest spot to get him spotted where you cannot be punished and hope your team can get rid of that danger . can you spot that ship before it gets into that position ? a good player thinks about so much more than an inexperienced player . dd player thought process is my job is to take cap sail to said cap with no idea of danger or back up die early and blame team blame matchmaker etc your position during the game is your choice , being in the wrong position is your mistake understand that and you will improve and then your results will improve . dont watch streamers for damage , watch good players for positioning and what they are looking at before shooting etc . maybe play lower tiers without radars if you are not yet good enough to play tiers with radar , this was always the worry many moons ago when they made progression easier from low tier to higher tiers . i dont know if things have changed but team up with a radar and bb and div up . be wary of a radar on your team if he isnt going to a radar place he probably doesnt have a clue what he is doing . always remember if its down to luck or matchmaking when you have a bad game its the same when you have a good game . good luck on your journey
@@120420 MM has nothing to do with winning huh? How do you explain average win-rates across a very large sample then?
45% detected
@@TheGrandexeno I said 44% in my head but close enough...lol!
