“You’ve killed me” is terrifying to know that. To know that his own Country forced him to fly knowing that it was not ready for space and he was going to die? That is murder. Growing up watching Star Trek and admiring Gene Roddenberry’s mind, made people seriously think that maybe we truly are not alone in the galaxy/universe, etc. It’s ok if they want to watch us… they can watch from up there…way way up there! Does it mean that I would like to meet one…nope…not at all!!! I think it would be unrealistic to think that we (all living and growing things) on this planet would believe that we are ALONE because what would be the purpose? Or does it need to have a purpose?

Clearly visible. My mother and grandmother were terrified. I was fascinated. My last memory is the 3 of us standing just inside the house and watching it. Idk if any of you believe in god so I’m going to put this 2 ways. If you believe in god: I don’t think that god would make this whole entire infinite world just so that we can be alone. I don’t think that makes sense to just make earth the only place with life. If you don’t believe in god: scientists have legit discovered so much life almost everywhere so it might just be that life would exist on other planets. Also I think it’s cool to possibly know that there is life beyond earth. I personally do believe in god but I believe in both of the reasons I think there is life elsewhere listed above. Happy Easter everyone!

About 2 years ago my wife and I were on the back porch of our house looking up at the evening sky and we both saw this orb of solid light drifting slowly across the sky. At first it looked like something akin to a helicopter with a spotlight pointed in our direction, but we quickly dismissed that idea after what we witnessed; it became very bright and expanded in size, then dimmed and decreased in size, then finally got even brighter and bigger than the first time, after which it shot out into space. We watched it until it disappeared, and we could see it travel outwards for a fairly great distance due to the long streak of faint light it left in its wake as it took off.
Here is where it gets even stranger; immediately after this thing left our atmosphere, we saw another object move toward this UFO, something fast and very bright that took off like a rocket originating from out in space, moving in a straight line in the direction of where the UFO had just passed, but the UFO was LONG gone before this other object intersected where the "wake" of the UFO was, almost as if it was something trying to intercept this craft.
I'm nothing more than a layman when it comes to these matters, but from what we saw, it was what I can imagine it would be like to see a missile being shot out of a satellite at something traveling through space. It came nowhere close to connecting, but the "missile" was fast as hell, bright and fast almost like a shooting star, but the UFO moved at what I can only describe as warp speed. I've probably watched a little too much Star Trek in my life, but that's the only thing I can compare it to, watching this craft charge up a propulsion system and leave Earth like it was taking a quick taxi ride to fucking Mars. Please excuse all of the amateur connotations, I know our minds fill in for the shit that we don't understand and can't explain, but all of this we witnessed could have been a scene straight out of any sci-fi movie, and it all transpired in less than 10 seconds.
So glad my wife was there with me, as she would have never believed any of this if I'd told her. I've seen all kinds of aircraft move across our skies, mostly terrestrial and a small handful of extraterrestrial, but I had never before witnessed a craft move *out* into space. Still makes my hair stand up when I think about it. My wife jumped up after what we saw and practically ordered us to go inside. Take it with grain of salt, but no bullshit here. Thanks for reading.

In 2008 i had to be in Aachen Germany for my job. As i arrived there and stepped out of the car i noticed something above me. It was as large as a soccerfield and also rectangular, it carried an orange light in the center. It was so near that i could make out lines on it as assembly lines, idk it looked like it was put together from huge parts. It flew at extreme low speed (i witnessed it for approximately 5 min.) over and made no sound and had no emission.
I remember that i thought how can this thing hang there without crashing down. It almost touched the treetops surrounding the parking lot.
The most unnerving was the feeling of thinking i was going insane or that reality was way different then i thought it was.
Knowing that no one wil believe you is also somewhat unpleasant, only folks who 've seen weird stuff can relate to this i guess.

That one about the astronaut seeing the green light as he flew over Perth, Australia...I lived in Perth for 30yrs and fished the beaches at night an awful lot, usually around Rockingham, Perth where there is a large Naval Submarine base. I have seen the green light twice, once was with another friend who I had told all about it only months previous. After he saw it as well, he admitted that when I first told him he thought I must have been mistaken but now completely understood. It could move at right angles and could accelerate far quicker than I could describe. I still can't decide if it was interested in the military base or something to do with the base...but it was definitely a craft in the sky that performed manuoveres like nothing else on the planet. I am so glad an actual astronaut has seen the exact same thing in the same place, for some reason it is comforting.

But the moves they made, like the right angle projectory at speed, and the ability to accelerate from one end of the island to the other in an instant... there's just no boat's able to do such things. I even considered drones but the speeds just didn't make that a possibility. Whatever they were seemed focused on the submarine base... always wished I had known if they appeared on the bases radar!

Next time you hear this audio clip. You’ll never hear it the same way again. You’ll actually hear the “A”. It’s quick and tied to the cadence of his speech and is why it got missed in the initial quote.

I figured i had 10 seconds or so of viewing time left so i ran inside to get binoculars to see it better, unfortunately it was gone when i came back outside. So cool.

Musgrave has always tried to make it clear that his description of 'snakes' was an analogy of long flexible rope-like stuff that flexed back and forth while floating by the window. It was the unearthliness of the INTERNAL RIPPLING MOTION of the objects that he was stressing, NOT any concept of a living entity native to outer space. The objects both appeared during dynamic flight phases involving payload jettison from the cargo bay. Like all other sightings of unexpected stuff near the spacecraft, they were subjects of reports prepared by NASA to assess possible origins [off the shuttle exterior] and potential hazards. They are =NOT= 'alien critters' and Musgrave never intended to give that impression. We have had an on-going professional and personal relationship since his training for his first shuttle mission forty years ago.

About Armstrong saying "They're watching us" etc., the problem is that, as far as I know, there's no recording of that, which I suppose the guys in Australia would've made. Besides, if he really said that, Buzz Aldrin should be the guy to ask about it, right? I've seen videos of Aldrin commenting on some strange object following the ship, so I guess he doesn't have a problem talking about the 'weird' parts of the mission.
BTW, did Armstrong really say "Good luck Mr Gorsky"?

I think the knocking one has good reasoning for that they did actually hear it, but it's nothing to be worried about. It could be pieces of the spaceship working. Sometimes when I go to bed I can hear my computer making clicking noises, but that is parts of the PC doing it's thing.

    • @Cammi_Rosalie

About your computer: I'm convinced that's Microsoft scanning your shit. My computer is next to my bed and it would do that too. Like every damn night. Several times a night. While the computer is idle, I'd hear the hard drives spooling up. One is particularly loud as it's an external drive that sits right on my nightstand. So I knew that's what it was. Like a little metallic grunt, followed by a whine rising in pitch to a whirr. The heads making their faint "bzzz bzzz" sound as they swept over the platters, then they would just spin down. Like whatever they were running was found. Video, audio and other files coming up missing or altered. Even had Firefox completely deleted once, and that useless IE/Edge thing set as the default browser. When I switched to Linux, all of that stopped. Now my PC doesn't do squat when leave it for the night. My files stay where and as I left them.
But aside from that, I understand what you mean about various bits of equipment on the spacecraft kicking in and doing their things.

Okay so I’ve got a story,
When I was a kid I believed in UFOs, aliens, and all that stuff, and I was always super interested in it.
One night in my parents room I was looking out the window, and I wasn’t feeling tired at all and I know it wasn’t a dream,
I saw a flashing light go in three directions, far left, far right and high up, it was so fast and I got so confused on what happened, this is what it looked like
    *

    *

    *
Imagine that but way further away, and appearing at different times, so the left one came, then disappeared as soon as the right one came, then the right one disappeared as soon as the top one came, then the top one disappeared, it was really weird and I will forever be curious as to what I saw that night. Space really is a mystery

To me, the scariest item in the vid is Armstrong saying, "They're watching us." I'm guessing aliens are intrigued by the primitive tech used by humans in the 1960s and using such technology to land on the moon. Aliens are thinking, "These humans are crazy to trust their lives on such devices..." as they observe Apollo 11 from a ridge on the moon.

I don't know for sure if we went to the moon or not. Probably we did. But the thing I found most interesting was their return home. During their press conference, those men did not act like men who had just accomplished something momentous, I would expect them to be happy, smiling, boisterous even. They were none of those things. They looked worried, downcast even sad. WHY? They had just done something no one else had ever done! That more than anything made me question the veracity of the moon landing.
