I did used an Angler/Hammer/Cudgel setup for quite some time, it’s a decent setup overall, the damage is good, however, my issue with it was the 5 seconds reload, not being able to shoot for 5 seconds when you have an opponent right in your face it can be a problem sometimes, and of course, you’re more exposed since you have to get closer and it’s a more aggressive build overall, with all that being said, I think it’s still a decent setup for F2p as it’s not that hard to put together and it will perform overall decent! 🙂
@@MechAnimalWR You are right, I also think exactly the same, to be honest I don't have your setup, I just won 1-Hammer and 3-Cudgel, all Freedom version, also I won that Angler, so it's feet by situation. And I'm happy with that. This setup really has some adrenaline when you playing, I just need to upgrade all of them, now it's at 5 level only.
I have a bad feeling about these weapons ngl... If Pixonic ever decides to nerf them, hope its a 5% or 10% damage nerf instead of a 80% damage nerf (like they usually do) I don't want them nerfed but they perform almost as good as meta weapons
I can see them doing that, right now this are the best non meta weapons, however, if they gonna do it it’s gonna be an unofficial silent nerf because they just buffed them like a month ago, it wouldn’t make sense to announce a nerf, so most likely they just gonna touch the “magic buttons” and turn them into garbage, I hope that won’t happen too soon! 🙏
I’m definitely leaning towards a more passive play style! That way we can benefit from the long range and the high damage that this weapons provide! I designed this one specifically for support, keeping a safe range while being able to help teammates it’s ideal, keep in mind we have the ability and the Beak drone that will help us avoid attacks and Mothership strikes, playing smart going in and out of cover overall! Sure, there’s gonna be moments where you can be more aggressive depending on the situation of the game and one’s judgement overall but to conclude, this setup performs best having a more passive approach where we can survive longer and charge our modules in order to benefit from all the stacked bonuses! I also have a Brawler Angler setup, it’s not ready yet, need to customize and adjust a few more aspects before I bring it to the channel! Lucky you as I can’t sleep(4 am here) and I was scrolling through RUclips shorts lol Yes, I think it’s a great setup, decent fire power even after the nerf and another thing that Brisant/Splinter are really good at is knocking the yellow shields really fast!

i won cruel angler from superchest but i dont have any spare decay or blight. i onky have lvl 11 blast shots guns and mk2 shredder and puncher which one will be better 😅
I would definitely go with Puncher/Shredder! They have lock down which can be so useful, decent range, Punchers work really well lately and Shredders got a buff recently as well! One of the most important things on the Angler would be the modules selection and the Drone, I would recommend Shai if you have one, with 2 repair amps and one nuclear amp,if not, Beak with 1 nuclear amp, last stand and one repair amp! 🙂
Right now I think Angler is a much better option, especially this setup, probably the best non meta setup to invest in! Angler’s ability is so useful to avoid mothership strikes, removes negatives effects, sometimes can even counter Shenlou attacks and so on, Fenrir cannot do all of that, and also Fenrir relies on Advanced Repair Unit since it’s a tank while Angler can be versatile and Shields Breaker can be added or other type of cheap Active Modules that will save us a lot of Power Cells along the way and that’s an important aspect as well because we know how expensive those things are! 🙂

I do love using teremok hel, teremok snaer and 2 sherif magnetar into my angler .. for drone using paralysis it give me extra damage from lockdown ..

I do have Punchers MK3, but only 2 Shredders for now and both low lvl, I’ll get the 3rd one and will definitely give it a try! 🙂
