But if you like the lame NJ jokes that aren't funny I'm happy. I'm here to learn about crime cases myself. I don't find the lame NJ cheapsots insulting, just ignorant and baseless., therefore not funny. I'm writing this while looking at the Ocean out the window of my 1.8 million dollar NJ home. Just so awful here. Wish I lived in like Ohio or Minnesota or somewhere nice. Like Tampa. Think I'll move to Tampa.

Bring it soon.
If she smiled at her family it's because she's being deceptive! Or maybe she just found a moment of comfort seeing them there to support her? Always weirds me out when the jury draws conclusions based on the emotional state of the defendant....
I thought that VERY thing when that was stated. I thought to myself how does anyone know if it was a smirk as if she was saying she just manipulated the jury with her wonderful acting...or could it have been when she saw her family she just felt the need to smile since she sought comfort in them? That seems like a more plausible explanation...I too am not comfortable with the way police and juries make crucial judgements based on people's reactions in traumatic situations.
Like when investigators are suspicious of a person because they don't seem upset when they find or are informed of a loved one's death. Some people don't show emotions to others much. I could come home and find everyone dead, and I would be deadpan while the police and first responders were there. I would only break when alone. So under this logic I would appear suspicious..
I thought about that as well (it could've just been the extreme stress & nervousness). .. but maybe that was their suspicion because of their overall perception of her... Dr G mentioned that the jury didn't buy her testimony either. ... Sometimes people make the wrong conclusions.. but what's also true is that most jurors/people can generally smell bullsh*t 🤷 (it's hard to say without watching the whole trial ourselves).
@@Bloodbain88 same. I exhibit emotionless responses. Some people find me suspicious of things sometimes because of that. But like you, I do have emotions, but like to express them in private. It's just the way I am. Do you encounter people treating you suspiciously sometimes? Just curious.
@@38201013 Not really suspiciously, but I get the feeling sometimes that people feel awkward around me, because I don't feel the need to constantly talk. I've had people think I was angry because I wasn't saying much.
Seems like they both had a hand in Alex’s demise. In the end, even if a person WANTS you to kill them, you are still liable for their death. Maybe it was even a double suicide gone wrong? What a bizarre crime.
@Traderjoe, the kitty was found by a friend and brought to the parents and re-homed, from what I've read. I'm glad I wasn't the only one concerned about the poor cat.
I agree with the good doctor's theory, I think that sounds very likely. I'm also wondering if it was possibly a mercy killing. Perhaps she found him so horribly wounded at the bottom of the cliff- and his suffering was so great- killing was- she felt- her only option. A;ways be wary of individuals who practice ferret-enhanced picnics.
There was a similarly bizarre case in Brazil about 5 years ago. A couple went to a small area of a beach at night that is usually closed, it's private at night. They managed to enter. Early morning, the girl is crying and looking for help. Her boyfriend's body was found naked on the sand. I don't remember how he died and her account, but remember police said his heart was outside on the sand. Apparently due to the fact that both their families are rich and have a reputation, we never heard of follow-ups of this case in the media anymore. Maybe the couple were into some similar ritual. Coincidence?
Not convinced she’s guilty of second-degree murder? The good doctor might be losing his edge. I think that the part where she sawed his head off was the convincing part. I guess I can’t be exactly sure how he fell off the cliff, but then she tried to saw his head off. I doubt that was a random head sawing offing opportunity She does not dispute that she was wielding the knife. There is absolutely no reason to think anyone else was in the area. Again, the key fact seems to be the undisputed sawing offing.
This happened in my neck of the woods, I live between Cumberland and Frostburg. It is my belief that she killed him for the money. I think she planned the whole thing, the hike, the weird ceremony all if it including killing him that day. She played on his desire to be more "spiritual" luring him to his death and helping him on that journey.
This was in my home town ..I hike to high rock several times a year..Alex's father was one of my teachers growing up.. this whole story only leaves more questions than answers..only 1 person truly knows what happened that night
I knew your opinion would make the most sense!!Thank you for covering this case. How about the WVU Coed's next? Why would someone take the heads of his victims if he writes a letter to the bodies location??
A most disturbing story! What is going on in the minds of people? Why did they bring along the poor cat and leave it in a carrier? A lot of other commentators also wondered about that. I wish you had mentioned that Alex's friend Stephen found the kitty and brought it to Alex' parents. I understand the little one was re-homed. Another viewer wrote that Alex had also left a dog once at a cemetery in a carrier! Why?! The innocent animals can't defend or free themselves. The whole thing is sad and worrying.
My question is, why was there a kitchen knife there? Unless i skipped the part they had things for a picnic, that’s unusual. I would understand a swiss army knife but a kitchen knife? Unless they were doing a ritual together, that seems like premeditation if she brought it.
Can you cover the recent case of Aderrien Murphy, an 11-year old Mississippi boy who was shot in the chest by a cop after he called the police to his home because his mother was involved in a domestic violence situation?
If this were just murder, there wouldn't have been any weird behavior leading up to the incident. She would have just lured him out to go hiking and then pushed him off the cliff. If that failed she might have followed up by striking him with a rock to make his wounds look consistent. But it sounds more to me like they had a suicide pact and she chickened out after helping him die, and then afterward tried to get away with her part in it altogether.
The act of slicing one’s throat is horrific! I saw a video of the journalist who was beheaded by middle eastern terrorists in Afghanistan or Iraq during the US’s armed conflicts in the early 2000’s. The video was posted on RUclips by the insurgents, and the first few minutes were shown on the news. The sound of the man aspirating from his throat being cut was so unsettling that it haunts me to this day. You couldn’t see the actual violent scene, but the sound was audible for just a moment, then it cut to the image of the man’s head placed on his chest. All that being said, the likelihood of someone doing this to themselves is infinitesimally low… I think the girlfriend did it, who knows why… It’s sickening to imagine that someone would be capable of such violence and gore.
My grandma used to have picnics in cemeteries because she said it was so peaceful and there were a lot of pretty flowers… however, no ferrets were involved

@@lostandfound5145 Sure it is.

@@lostandfound5145 So that's like 100 miles? If you lived in NJ then you know other than the area around Newark and Camden/Trenton is a beautiful place. Better than most states.
What happened to the cat left in the carrier by the car? I care more about the cat than I do this murderous, weirdo girl.
The cat is the real victim of the story.

I only hope the cat was rescued and placed with sane loving people
Good news! ❤ Kitty is safe and sound and has a new family! 🐈
Your videos are awesome as always. I miss the old background though
Hello 👋 good Dr. Grande 😊🎉

Yet she ended up being the murderous psychopath.
Seems like they both had a hand in Alex’s demise. In the end, even if a person WANTS you to kill them, you are still liable for their death. Maybe it was even a double suicide gone wrong? What a bizarre crime.
What happened to the cat?
@Traderjoe, the kitty was found by a friend and brought to the parents and re-homed, from what I've read. I'm glad
I wasn't the only one concerned about the poor cat.
If I said it once, I've said it a thousand times, never go anywhere high for the "view", unless the place you want to "view" is where you die.

Lovely voice. Listen to Dr g almost every night while I zzzzzz
I’ve heard the Cult rumors
Not convinced she’s guilty of second-degree murder? The good doctor might be losing his edge. I think that the part where she sawed his head off was the convincing part. I guess I can’t be exactly sure how he fell off the cliff, but then she tried to saw his head off. I doubt that was a random head sawing offing opportunity She does not dispute that she was wielding the knife. There is absolutely no reason to think anyone else was in the area. Again, the key fact seems to be the undisputed sawing offing.
Does anyone know if the cat was ok?
I just noticed you have over a million subscribers! I am so happy for you! I remember when you only had a few!!
I’ve never heard of this case before. It’s so bizarre.
See that you past 1.3 mill subs, Doc😀👍. Thats great
This happened in my neck of the woods, I live between Cumberland and Frostburg. It is my belief that she killed him for the money. I think she planned the whole thing, the hike, the weird ceremony all if it including killing him that day. She played on his desire to be more "spiritual" luring him to his death and helping him on that journey.
My daughter went to Frostburg 🥶. I can’t imagine how cold the temp actually felt like!
That sounded planned to you?
She was saludictorian of my hs class. She wouldn’t have killed someone over that amount of money.
This was in my home town ..I hike to high rock several times a year..Alex's father was one of my teachers growing up.. this whole story only leaves more questions than answers..only 1 person truly knows what happened that night
I love your videos ❤
I feel like the cacti are breeding in the background because there's more and more each video❤️👍👍

So a guy gets pushed off a cliff and his throat sawed open... but everyone needs to know if the cat is okay. Wow.
I knew your opinion would make the most sense!!Thank you for covering this case. How about the WVU Coed's next? Why would someone take the heads of his victims if he writes a letter to the bodies location??
Picnicking with ferrets sounds like fun!🎉
A most disturbing story! What is going on in the minds of people? Why did they bring along the poor cat and leave it in a carrier?
A lot of other commentators also wondered about that. I wish you had mentioned that Alex's friend Stephen found the kitty and
brought it to Alex' parents. I understand the little one was re-homed. Another viewer wrote that Alex had also left a dog once at
a cemetery in a carrier! Why?! The innocent animals can't defend or free themselves. The whole thing is sad and worrying.
Whoa! 😮 This has similarities to the Ezra McCandless case. 😢
My question is, why was there a kitchen knife there? Unless i skipped the part they had things for a picnic, that’s unusual.
I would understand a swiss army knife but a kitchen knife? Unless they were doing a ritual together, that seems like premeditation if she brought it.
The deadpan snark in all these analyses is hilarious. Well done.
"ferret enhanced cemetery picnics" 😂😂
Can you cover the recent case of Aderrien Murphy, an 11-year old Mississippi boy who was shot in the chest by a cop after he called the police to his home because his mother was involved in a domestic violence situation?
But, seriously, what happened to the cat???
If he transfered money to her account, why would she need to murder him? She already had the money
Right? Makes no sense unless they did have some sort of agreement and it was payment for whatever was supposed to happen during the 'ritual'.
Ferret enhanced picnics….
I dont like living in Tucson, way too hot, except for winter months.
Ooooh, I hope the kitty is okay!
