What was the term you used for the Putnum tail? A 'way' trail? I've never heard that term. What's the definition of a 'way' trail? Thanks

A trail created by animals or by a few individual people. Unmarked. Not maintained. No one cut out the fallen trees or brush. Like following a trail made by a deer. Today, 50 years later, I am sure the trail is in better shape, and easier to follow. (I see it's now listed in the FS Trail Guides) The Mildred Lakes Trail was the same. I'll have a Story about that area in the future.
