Solitude can be nice too, it's a far sight better than the bothersome noises of the weekend warriors and the sounds of tree cutting and smell of neighbors burning garbage and such. Sorry about the rant ... I enjoy the peaceful moments, but certainly don't mind when the critters are out and about either. The feel of winter coming brings about the change of seasons, but the change brings new beauty. You live in a beautiful place, I'm glad you are able to get out and enjoy what mother earth brings. Thank you for sharing your wisdom of the surroundings there. Getting the etrike looks to be a wonderful idea. Your adventures inspired me to do the same, I got an Addmotor also. (Mine is the 'CityTri E-310'). These sure are nicely engineered and manufactured machines. The ability to go places that I, otherwise, would not be able to go, has really improved my quality of life. We live along the Columbia River in Washington state, so some of the flora and fauna looks quite familiar, just not in the abundance that you have there.

I bought some devil club salve when I was there in August. I've not yet tried it on a consistent basis---but I did leave some $$ in Sitka! Loved your town. Alaska is such a beautiful place. I hear an airplane.

Well, I never want to get too close to a Devil Club plant. I never knew that there was such a plant. So here's a video idea, unless you have already done this: Maybe doing a video on the different types of pine trees in the Sitka area. I saw a few spruce trees but I don't think that they were Blue Spruce pine trees. I heard that there is a Sitka Spruce but I don't know if that is what I was seeing.

Sorry for your pain but just know that it was a joy watching you on your fishing outing. You might need to change to bait fishing. That way you could bring a chair and fish sitting down. But after seeing so many people fish in Alaska with fly fishing rods, you might get laughed at seating and using a bait rod. Well once again, I really enjoyed this video.

Add motor is a horrible company no service no parts no nothing

Well I finally made my way to Sitka. Come in like most do, on a cruise ship. Walked around the National Park area and into town. This was the best port on our cruise. Hopefully I can make it back there one day.

Wonderful video. Glad you were able to go fishing again. After fishing last year, (first time in 10 yrs) and needing two weeks to recover from it, I decided that my fishing days are over as well. Sure did miss it this year though. Thank you for allowing me to share your fishing trip.

What a beautiful place you live in, i was born in the city and spent most of my teenage days playing video games and not enjoying nature and outside. I'm 24 now and discovered the wonderful world of fishing and these places just make me want to drop everything, and go live in a tiny cabin in the woods with a small trout stream next to it just like you! Thank you for sharing this wonderful video. You make people like me really thankful for what mother nature gave us. I can only hope to stand where you are one day.

I was disappointed by what I heard, the poor format, and lack of real news. I recommend BBC, Associated Press, and GBNews. I do not like "talking heads" or being told how to think. Just give me the facts. 😀

I'm 67 and I have to admit. I'd miss my internet connection. But I've got hundreds of DVD's and a couple players, so I could power through. I don't call anyone so I wouldn't miss my cell phone, and cash? I only keep what I have to in the bank because I know how fragile that system is! They're all on the verge of collapsing.

I have a HJM Trike. I had it for four months. What I wonder the most about is that how many months or years it will it last. Mine being three wheel you would think it would be hard to tip over but believe me it can happen in a second. You have a nice trike. I recently ordered a tire pressure monitor. I'm not sure one is necessary I will see I get it in the mail lol.
