His high notes are brilliant, and his voice is very loud. He is very clear above the orchestra. His timing is off and he sort of rushes the aria in my opinion, but he is just old school I think. Love this!
La voix est magnifiquement placée, quelle sûreté dans les aigus, magnifique technique . S.F . est vraiment un ténor sous-évalué qui mérite d'être considéré dans les grands ténors de la 2ème 1/2 du 20eme siècle..
Fisichella, is a great tenor. He is a Bellini specialist, and has tremendous technique. Even now in his 70s, he sounds very fresh in voice. Caruso is unique of course, and no one can really compare for what he accomplished.
babystinky I think his interpretation of O sole mio is great, but I wished he could sing the high notes like Giovanni Martinelli did in Torna a Surriento. y13-4PZJdCs There is no interpretation of O sole mio which gives me absolute pleasure. Giacomini's voice doesen't fit to the song. Pavarotti is of course great. But I think that Fisichella's singing is the most "folksy".
Thank you 🤗

Bravissimo il tenore Fisichella, peccato che non lo conosciuto in persona.
Un saluto anche a te.

His voice is not full, warm and pathetic like Caruso's voice, but he has a nice singing tone.

What I can admire about Fisichella is how he's able to maintain his decent voice to his senior years. He now sings better than most current singers
