Ive been on that same cruise way back in early 2018 & it’s such a pleasure seeing the ship in action once again. Nostalgia is a good thing for me, thanks very much for the video. We too (a group of ladies) flew to Singapore to join the cruise but took the Aeroline on the way back to KL. For those concerned about sea-sickness, I myself am afraid of that, but there was hardly ever a problem for me during the cruise, of course at open sea sailing I felt a slight sway for a short while, otherwise it was smooth sailing throughout. I guess choose the months outside of monsoon season to cruise. Wonderful experience, for a second cruise for me. Thanks very much.

Good for you, hope you enjoy it. Make sure take a jumper or a hoodie for sightseeing. I got super sick in Bangkok. My wife in Singapore. Try the famous Singaporean dish called bah ku tei. If it's still open look for the Founders, they have the best.
Thanks Taylor for your info. Re: customer service, there are staff shortages everywhere. People are still transitioning back after pandemic conditions, which is inclusive of customer service...I live in Hawaii and tourism is highly impacted but the shortages of staff. Regardless, I would definitely do a cruise there next time I am KL.

Was staying in Phuket on Jan 28 and could see Spectrum of the seas sitting off Patong funny if you were on the ship then Remember checking on ship finder to see what ship it was it sure was massive They had some kind of massive moving arm that appeared to have a pod of some kind Also saw the ship months ago in Penang Would love to go on it some day curious to know the price for 5 days
I spent the last few days of 2022 at this ship for 6 days. It's definitely one of the greatest holiday experience in my life. If i have another luck, i wish to go back to this ship again. It's great, didn't regret a single second of it, watching this review made me have a massive nostalgia flashback on my experience with this ship. I even discover few songs that i never heard before through the ship's entertainment so listening again at home was a nice way to enjoy the nostalgia Man i wanted to go back 😥😥😥 Reply

I wish they had an airline version of that! ;) Few questions: 1) What was the total "out the door" cost for this 10 day cruise (i.e., how much money left your wallet by the time you got home)?; 2) Is the cruise cost all inclusive with drinks, meals, entertainment and tipping? If not, can you break out those costs in detail?; 3) You mentioned a stop in Patong Beach, Phuket. Any other ports you visited?; 4) Is your suite balcony totally private, or could your neighbor potentially peek around the partition and see you? I actually live near the cruise capital of the world (Miami, Florida!) but have never taken a cruise. It's been on my list of things to do forever, but I want a cruise with no kids and not crowded. I'm basically looking for that nature cruise with minimal people and without all the partying... lol. Thanks again for sharing! .. and, by the way, your video production here is great with the audio, music, shots, etc., unlike that earlier interview video you did in Penang where you were shoving the mic in everyone's face ;) haha. Thanks, the cruise wasn’t kids free, just adult only area. I spent about $5,000 US for the whole trip. It stopped in Penang and Phuket. Yes, people can peak around the partition on the balcony but no one did. 😂
You're not the first to comment on the "crew vibe". I think everyone is still stressed to some extent by the events of the last three years. Like airlines the cruise companies are anxious to recoup lost revenues but it's a fine line between cost cutting and overworking your staff. Looks like a lovely ship and your cabin set up looks great. Very good video. Would be interested in hearing about your shore excursion experience.

Oh, and yes about the service. I just got off a cruise not long ago myself. Even in the dining room it's slow. I don't blame the server I blame the cruise lines. they have them doing so many jobs, giving them so many tables it's not even fun no more. You can tell when you see it in their eyes, they ready to go.
the video is great and its nice too see this, but the only way you get me on that is in handcuffed and dragning by my feet. i would enjoy an AMAN hotel or a Bulgari hotel or a hostel on the beah... hum... that seems not to fit... anyway thanks for the tour.
You are trapped with people you may not like and I would not want to saty in my room all the time, although looks good with balcony. I probably get a smoker next door and be terrible sitting on the balcony. Buffetts are great its just the grubs of people that ruin it. Good video again thank you.🙏👍
Oh my, you are not “trapped with people you don’t like” 😂 You aren’t forced to meet other passengers. You won’t get smoke on your balcony. Smoking is forbidden on balconies and strictly enforced. There is hardly anywhere on the ship that you can smoke. Anyway, I guess cruising isn’t for everyone. 😂
Order seafood for your viewers. Or just take pics of someone else's seafood. "Excuse me, do you mind if I take a picture of your dish for my viewers?"😁

I've always wanted to go on a cruise. But being seasick has always been a concern. So i think that's what's holding me back from actually going on one

Alaska cruise, only one day on open seas. Rest of time is in the inside passage.
Just go experience it. Cruises are very very stable

I do eat some seafood, just not fish. In the pics of the food there is one of a lobster I had. 😊
