Your tutorial is so thorough, I greatly appreciate it! I'm thinking I'll be going with your instructions for inspiration, as I like how yours turned out :) Really thinking of making the handle out of wood with some hardware to allow it to fold, so that the handle is less obtrusive to walk through the con with.
Wife is going as Nora, I'm going with her as Ren ^,^ I'm making our weapons, she's making our costumes (she's a professional tailor, and does *amazing* work).
So, with that little bit of extra context, I say again (more emphatically)... Thank you! I've poured the past 2 hours into figuring out how to make the hammer look good without it being too heavy. I *so* greatly appreciate it ^,^

How much money should we set aside if we want to recreate this prop?

Also have you got any tips for making the patterns? Like the "shield" or the small bits?

In all honestly it wasn’t that expensive! I’d say I spent about £30 tops on it all, including paint and materials! I don’t have any patterns for it as I free handed the whole thing, but I’m more than happy to make some and put them on my wordpress if you’d like them!

@@fairynovacosplayhey! 2 years later I watched this video, wanting to make Nora's hammer! Do you still happen to have the patterns? The shapes looked so good on yours 😊

@@YukiBolt hi there! there were sadly never any patterns made for her as I made it all up on the fly for this video! However, I do have plans to revisit it and create some patterns for it!
