Hello Jennifer, This is awesome! My 16 year old son is graduating with his bachelor’s degree from college. I was looking for unique, creative ideas for his graduation cap. I love this template! Thank you.
Jennifer, this is fantastic! Your videos are so great to learn so many different things to make & do. I love it! I've only had my Cricut Maker 3 since Christmas & I am learning a lot but I want to learn so much more as I see each new thing to do. Thank you!!!
These are awesome! We had a December grad, & had to wing it without Jennifer's great guidance & designs, lol! Used Cricut pens to create something out of cardstock that looked like a sheet of looseleaf paper, embellished with glitter cardstock shapes & writing. The graduate, who was a student teacher, even had the class write their names with a gold sharpie -- it was very cute!
@@JenniferMaker Thank you! There was an apple and, in the middle (with a hole cut for the tassel) the silhouette of a golden trophy cup, 2021, and the message "Every child deserves a champion." :D
These are great! Totally wish I had a Cricut when I decorated my cap 20+ years ago. I used a white out pen and stencils. 🤣 My daughter used Htv on her cap without any issues but was definitely cautious when using the iron.
Thanks for sharing you expertise, information and demonstrations. I have lots to learn. I have not had a problem with my first downloads following your SVG tutorials. I use Windows. Today, the files downloaded, I completed the extract but they and PNG not SVG. Any way to correct this vs using a converter program? I tried converting the Every Day sticker set and lost all the color. I tried the Caps and the same thing occurred.
Hello Jennifer Maker! I love this so much. My daughter is graduating this year and she would like a silver glitter type of card stock as the foundation. What is the best option to stick letters on top of this type of textured card stock?
Hello Jennifer I absolutely love the graduation caps. How do you make the graduation caps using heavy duty card stock? I would like to use for center pieces on tables using the ideas you use to decorate
In the description scroll down to the notes and the fonts are listed with the links. I got wished from font bundles. jennifermaker.com/graduation-cap-ideas/
that sounds like a pretty good idea, if you've got some iron-on you especially want to use. (But if I were buying supplies from scratch, I'd follow Jennifer's instructions for guaranteed great results!)
I've had NO other issues other than not getting the vinyl off the transfer tape (standard grip) and onto the cardstock without ripping the cardstock or ruining the vinyl. Any suggestions!?
I would have had a blast decorating my cap if that was a thing back in 1983.

Hello Jennifer Maker! I love this so much. My daughter is graduating this year and she would like a silver glitter type of card stock as the foundation. What is the best option to stick letters on top of this type of textured card stock?
You can test permanent vinyl or iron-on for the glitter card stock. There are different types of glitter card stock.
Very cool ideas.
Glad you think so!
I love it it's so beautiful ❤️
I'm glad you like it!
Hello Jennifer this video is awesome! If I am using card stock what kind of glue do u suggest I use to stick the card stock to the cap?
My favoite glue to use is Bearly Art glue. Fabric glue is also a choice.

It is in the video. You can glue the card stock to the cap.
I will make the surprise for my roommates
I love this project. Can you share where did you get the font "wished"? Thanks in advance.

Beautiful hats.
Couldn’t you use a piece of fabric for the iron-on vinyl? Then use spray adhesive or fabric glue to attach it to the cap?
that sounds like a pretty good idea, if you've got some iron-on you especially want to use. (But if I were buying supplies from scratch, I'd follow Jennifer's instructions for guaranteed great results!)
You certainly can do that. 😊
Great tip! Thx
You are so welcome! 😃
why did you place the plastic on the mat?
Did you use the crivut to cut it?
if its being placed under the vut outs, why did you cut it on the cricut ?
Yes, the Cricut will cut the plastic. Here are the details on the blog post. jennifermaker.com/graduation-cap-ideas/
Hello! Awesome job......where can I purchase the sport cap file?
These files are free to use in the library. jennifermaker.com/graduation-cap-ideas/

Very carefully, lol! You can also ask in my Facebook group, facebook.com/groups/cricutcraftersandmakers/ 💗
Are all graduation caps the same size?
That's a good question. I believe they come in a standard size.
How do you remove the cut out shapes from the black layer so there is just the hole for the button?
I am not sure I understand the question. I have details in the tutorial that may help you. jennifermaker.com/graduation-cap-ideas/
What would the size be for a child’s cap?
You can adjust the size in Design Space. I am not sure of measurements for a child cap.
I love it but in 1986 you had to return cap and I’d been in big trouble if I did that at all! Lol
I had to do the same thing! 😁💜
hello i cant upload the ( class of 2022 thats a win )to my cricut because its in PDF file can you send me png file
I did you get my email?
