This is probably my favourite film or pretty close. I have been to Berlin and seen a lot of the locations, seen the new 4K remaster, seen it over and over again and watched most of the reviews. I divide my friends into 2 groups, those who have watched it and understand and the others who havn't or don't. Going back to Berlin next spring.
Good analysis i had to do the same for this film back in about 97 at uni and that's how I ended up hooked on it. Most of Wim's films have a similar feel, you either get it or you don't.
I am trying to watch the full length "Until the end of the world", I don't think I'll ever manage it all in one go though, I won't lie, I really fancy Solveig Dommartin,

If you don’t mind sharing, where were you able to get a copy of Until the End of the World? I have been looking for o e with as much of the footage and any extra deleted scenes, commentaries, etc. I really wish that Criterion would put out a version.

@@carolynkepes5451 I got it off ebay during the covid debacle, it wasn't cheap, I'm sure it was new. Ironically I have covid now and my local arthouse cinema (Dukes Lancaster) is screening Perfect Days, ah well.
