Exactly what I needed to see for my 2022 Chevy Suburban. Thanks! Keep up the good work. My channel is very similar to yours. The world need us DIY guys to make these kinds of videos.
Hello Where did you jack up the Tahoe? I need to do the same thing with my water pump. The manual shows a couple jack points on the truck but no place to put the jack stands. If I use the jack point for the jack where would you suggest I put the stand ? Or should I jack the truck from somewhere else and then put the stands at the points that are suggested for the jacking point?? Sorry if this is confusing. This is my first time jacking up a vehicle in my life.
Nice job on the video. Our Tahoe is having a related problem. That is, fluid is all flowing to the rear and the tubing appears to be leaking behind the panel by the power outlet in the rear. And, the pump, regardless of front or back, is pushing water through that line - making a mess in the back of the Tahoe. Have you pulled any of the panels in the back? If so, I’d love to see videos of how to do that. Thanks for your work on this video.
No I have not pulled any of the panels in the back, but it sounds like the hose is not connected or has a leak problem back there. That would definitely make a good video. Thank you for your comment and appreciation of the video. Dusty DIY
You can, but definitely DO NOT NEED to remove the wheel well cover or the wheel. The entire pump replacement can be done in less time than it takes to replace two wiper blades by reaching down into the engine bay. Tilt it out sideways and then pull it up - I don't even remove the hose - the tank will drain immediately when you remove the pump. Then disconnect the hose or hoses and wire harness, connect new pump, then push it down into the o-ring opening and tilt it against the reservoir to click it in place. You can actually do it so quick that the tank doesn't even get a chance to drain fully - I put the new pump in as it's spilling out.
My 2021 w/83K miles has has this pump go out. RIDICULOUS!!!! I have a 30 yr old dodge truck that has a washer pump STILL working. This new GM shit is a joke. Looks like I’m doing this repair.
Sorry ! have been sick slow to respond lately but I don't have it at the moment but I would be glad to figure it out for you if you want? Call a chevy dealership and give them your info and they should easy tell you the part number and get it in, that what I had to do. The auto parts store around me couldn't get the part very easily unfortunately.

@ so true thank you for the comment!!
They make these things called funnels.😮 LOLOL thanks for the video.
Lol

My problem is fluid leakage. I guess I’ll have to tear it down as you did just to find out which motor is leaking or if the reservoir is cracked.
yes you ,
may have to follow your lines and see thanks for the comment
Do you have to take the wheel off?
Yes, to get the inner fender out You will want to take the wheel off.
